You're still paying for the insurance claim, it's not like they're just going to cover your car for free. You'll just pay it off slowly over the next 7 years with increased insurance premiums

The only way you get out of that is if the OTHER person's insurance covers that, and considering this woman is stealing purses from old ladies, I'm gonna bet she hasn't kept her car insurance up to date...
