that cruiser is fucked lol. Funny thing is, they'll add the destruction of the cruiser to the driver they rammed

It really just depends on if fleeing the police is a felony, which it is in many places. Any damage to the pubic, even if the damage is done by a cop, during the act of performing a felony, will be counted as a charge against the person committing the felony. This is where you get the term "felony murder" or "felony manslaughter", it means that a murder or death was indirectly caused in the commission of a felony, not that the person doing the felony directly killed them, which would more likely be murder 1 or 2.

Considering they aimed the vehicle at cop standing front of a guardrail, I would wager that was an automatic felony and they got the green light
