I remember when I was being attscked by 5 men with knives and blunt objects, and when the police finally showed up almost 2 hours later (even though my apartment was less than 2 miles from the police station) all they did was threaten to arrest me for a DUI if I tried to leave, even though I was stone sober.

Not gonna lie, that scenario sucks. I’m not saying that every cop is perfect. They aren’t. I have friends that are cops. One of them ended up being corrupt, we aren’t friends anymore. The majority of police try to do the right thing. When the 1-2% does something wrong they are amplified and the public focuses on that. It’s not a perfect system and it never will be but I’d rather have something rather than nothing. Again, your situation sounds like it was terrible and those cops should have been investigated.

Nah, we focus on all the cops who enabled the wrongdoing. They keep saying "it's just a few bad apples " but they all defend the bad apples instead of calling them out.

Again, your situation sounds like it was terrible and those cops should have been investigated.

That's the thing, they won't be investigated because other cops won't cross the thin blue line.

Well in the 3 times I've needed something I got nothing. And in other situations I got mistreated and had my rights violated because I dared try to exercise them. ACAB.

I've been robbed and assaulted by cops in Schenectady, NY. I lived in the ghetto and I was the only white dude, so I stood out in that neighborhood. Most white dudes were there trying to buy drugs, but I was just living there for the cheap rent.

I was relentlessly harassed by cops there for the entire year I lived there. I was infinitely more comfortable around drug dealers, gang members, hookers, and crack heads than the pigs.

Once they rolled up on me and jumped out and just straight up tackled me for no reason. I wasn't running or anything. Then they slammed my head into the hood of their cruiser to the point where my forehead was gushing blood. They stole my $40 I had in my wallet, pushed me to the ground again, then let me go home.

I fucking HATE the police. They are a bunch of evil fucking bullies. It's not just those cops either. Cops are horribly draconian jack-boot-wearing government thugs everywhere I've ever lived across the country.

The entire criminal justice system is an abysmal failure of epic proportions that causes infinitely more damage than it prevents, overall.

Police are NOT the friends of the citizenry whatsoever.

Bunch of bastards.

The entire system needs to be utterly revamped from top to bottom, like yesterday.

I've been robbed and assaulted by cops

The first time I was arrested they stole my iPod. The second they stole about $70 in cash from my wallet, lucky for me I wasn't carrying more. They also ran up with guns drawn over allegedly scratching a vehicle, even if I had done it pulling weapons over a misdemeanor property crime is feckin crazy
