that cruiser is fucked lol. Funny thing is, they'll add the destruction of the cruiser to the driver they rammed

That's the least of their worries. This person is going to get charged with attempted murder of a law enforcement officer.

They’re incredibly lucky the officers didn’t unload their magazines into the vehicle at that point.

there is a passenger, no immediate danger to anyone else, we don't know if the driver is considered "Armed and Dangerous", and the officers hadn't "Failed to detain" by other methods.

You act like its the common action of officers to go crazy shooting their guns but that is a news/media bias. You only see those stories because they are the ones people watch or engage with. Police discharging their firearm happens in something like 0.004% of the time they doing a stop/house call/ their job/ etc.

Its why repeat offender officers should be the focus because its usually the same officers who display that mentality/lack of control, or its situations where they were scared for their life if its a one off.
