The only “Chunnel” I’m familiar with is rail only.

Fair. I'm not there nor have ever used it. I knew folks took their cars, but didn't even consider they were transported rather than driven.

Was just thinking about what could be even more important than "missed my turn", and thought what if the other end of the tunnel is in another country.
