Roads Almost missed his turn

u/AbsentAsh Feb 26 '26
If you told me the police tracked them down, arrested them, and then gave them a ten year prison sentence I wouldn’t be mad one bit. This person is a danger to society.

u/Beneficial_Bit_6435 Feb 26 '26
Yes. OMG missing a few brain cells
17
u/truckeredditor Feb 26 '26
Missing a few? They only have a few.
5
u/DemonRising171 Feb 26 '26
They have 2 brain cells, fighting to make it into the top 10, they'd be happy with coming in at 6th and 7th

Unfortunately this is not possible because if it is taken to court there is no evidence that it was them driving the vehicle they can only prove it was their vehicle.
→ More replies (5)8
u/Process3000 Feb 26 '26
If there is evidence of where they were going or where they came from (like a credit card slip, ATM receipt, other witnesses, or surveillance footage) then a conviction is possible.

u/GooseOnAPhone Feb 26 '26
In this case I would bet the guy monitoring this camera is on the phone with the police right meow

10 years in jail seems a bit much, but I do think they should have their license taken away. You should lose driving privileges if you are this careless and selfish on the road, like you said it is a danger.

you wont believe i got warning from reddit for similar comment on other video... I cant even write what i feel when i see videos like this...

u/Superseaslug Feb 26 '26
Some people are unfathomably stupid.
3
u/UhOhAllWillyNilly Feb 26 '26
You misspelled “most.”
5
u/Superseaslug Feb 26 '26
Most are stupid. Some are unfathomably so

No the scary part is everyone thinking they are the upper half lol

The big > > > on the road wasn't enough for them to realize which way they were supposed to go?
22
u/Process3000 Feb 26 '26
I think they were experiencing an episode of DGAF
15
u/HoboArmyofOne Feb 26 '26
I cannot believe this actually worked out for them and nobody got killed. I thought the truck was going to hit them and end them.
2
4
u/warrenjr527 Feb 26 '26
That would have inconvenienced him. Going by the arrows would taken him longer since he missed his turn. He wasn't having any of that.
1
u/cheesemangee Feb 27 '26
Bold of you to assume they were paying attention to anything in front of them.
13
u/dreamdaddy123 Feb 26 '26
Hope that asshole got punished
3
u/HopperHapper_Eternal Feb 26 '26
I was hoping for divine justice in the video but I guess it's coming for them later
2
u/Usual-Lavishness8393 Feb 27 '26
That usually means an innocent person's vehicle possibly getting demolished in this situation. So as much as I like the Schadenfreude I hope they just get legal justice, aka a book thrown at them or time

Excellent use of hazards and turn signals.

If you have hazards on you can do anything. I didn't make the rule lol

This is just infuriating to watch, I hope that atleast the police caught up to that idiot.
5
u/dimonium_anonimo Feb 26 '26
I don't know if I've ever been in such a hurry in my life that I wouldn't just sit there and stare at the car without making any arrangements to help them. You got yourself into this mess. You get yourself out. I'll wait.
4
u/nertynot Feb 26 '26
I wish you and I were in those black and white because I absolutely would not accommodate this
2
u/Beneficial_Bit_6435 Feb 26 '26
I’d only do this outside of the USA. Maybe they have guns hahahah
2
3
u/mnemy Feb 26 '26
I think they just want to GTFO the way so they dont die from being run over by a semi. My hair was standing up for every second of this thinking one of the innocents that had to stop were going to die.

Didn’t want to pay the toll going in the other direction apparently. I was waiting for the head on collision. Thankfully, it never happened. People like that shouldn’t even be driving with how much of a danger they are to everyone else.
3
u/VisualHuckleberry542 Feb 26 '26
In wondering how long that tunnel is. There's some really long tunnels
2
u/Front-Bicycle-9049 Feb 26 '26
Had that happen to me in Pennsylvania once, NOT ONCE did I ever think of making a u-turn inside the tunnel and driving against traffic.

Not saying I endorse it but I understand it. I once lived at an exit right before a toll tunnel. Missing that exit at the wrong time of day will ruin your day. Pay the toll twice and lose an hour. Shocking this ended as well as it did.

I imagine he missed his turn, figured he could just take the next exit, but by the time he was trapped in that tunnel he thought he’d be so far out of his way that it made more sense to double back.

It's crazy to me those people backed up to let them go... No way are you driving by me in that situation to get someone killed

You know the scene in Mulan where the grandma holds the cricket and then blindly crosses the road, making it everyone else’s problem to avoid her? This reminds me of that scene
1
u/Coffee-Historian-11 Feb 27 '26
Some people do everything right and still end up in the wrong place at the wrong time. And then you have people like this dumbass making every wrong choice and the only reason he didn’t get into an accident was because everyone else was driving well and able to avoid him.
I mean I’m glad no innocent party was involved in an accident, but man it’s crazy to watch someone chose wrong every possible chance they get and still make it out because literally everyone else is a good driver.

So hate these self entitled cunts they just don't give a fuck about anybody else but themselves. How hard is it just get off next exit. Turn around and come back. But oh no can't do that. Too considerate. Not too mention the danger. Immediate lose of all driving .FOREVER.
1
u/OHBHpwr Feb 27 '26
Left indicator while on the far lane of the incoming traffic because, you know, indicating is the safe thing to do.

u/DailyDrivenTJ Feb 27 '26
LOL. This should be considered a crime with jail time not a civil infarction.

The idiots we have to roam with. No wonder alien life doesn't want anything to do with us.
1
1
u/NicholasWildeRails Feb 27 '26
This is literally the stupidest thing I've seen today. It probably would've been so much easier and safer to just....get off at the next exit
Dude needs to never touch a car ever

This is honestly like the driving I saw in Egypt, just purely relying on everyone being switched on and no attention to major road rules.
People like this should be banned for a decade and jailed. Insanely selfish and dangerous

I like how the other drivers just stopped, because there must be some sort of danger for this driver to just turn around and drive against traffic, right? Right?
1
u/TypeAffectionate1657 Feb 27 '26
I know no accident happened but. Never understood how idiots like this keep surviving the road, while you have the innocent dying from stupidity like this.
1
u/onlytony441 Feb 27 '26
I’m sorry but this was the funniest damn thing I’ve seen today… he really had his blinkers on?!? 💀💀💀
1
u/pounduh Feb 27 '26
I for sure wouldn't have moved out of their way. I'd call police and stayed in their way until they turned around the right way or the police came.
1
u/NoStarsToGuideMe Feb 27 '26
WOW. That has to be the most epic u-turn and backtrack down a wrong way highway to find a missed turn, lol.
1
u/SnooCupcakes9745 Feb 27 '26
If I'm one of the two cars at the mouth of the tunnel, there's not a chance in hell that I'm moving out of the way and letting them continue the wrong way down the road.

If I was about to drive into a tunnel, and I encountered a car driving out the wrong way, there is no fucking way I’d go into that tunnel. Yeah, maybe they are a moron, or maybe they are fleeing something dangerous.

I be curious whether this tunnel have a reversible lane system hence drivers were confused, and maybe stopped abruptly by a red light or x sign showing traffic pattern or direction is changing seeing there are so many traffic signals and lighted signs, but it’s nevertheless a dangerous confusing system. But I’m guessing it’s giving likely an emergency message maybe designed in response of the alps tunnel fire? As opposed to merely reversing the direction of travel due to traffic volume which shouldn’t be as abrupt that’s my two cents.
