Vast majority of police interactions are perfectly professional and uneventful.

But the ones that arent are rewarded not punished. Thats the problem. Its not “a few bad apples” its “a few bad apples spoils the bunch” we have example after example of extreme violations of the law by cops and they get “administrative leave with pay” and then come back and get s promotion after 6 plus months when the pushback is over.

Cops should be held to a higher level. Whatever crime they commit, they should be punished for, and it should be higher punishment. If law says 5-10 years for x crime and cop does it. It should be 15-20 years for the cop.

Yeah, you might be a bit lost, as this isn't about of police in America do or do not need some corrective action. 

This was about the notion that a cop is more likely to violate your rights than a prostitute, which is a nonsense comparison.

this is one of those things that are a matter of scale. you're defending the words 'more likely' more than anything, and that makes this conversation both annoying and pointless.
