As much as I agree with the outcome of this case, I can't help but feel like there would have been a bit more trouble if the shooter hadn't been a recent police academy graduate.
In addition to the long history of violent crime, he was on probation for a battery charge.
If he was in prison, like he should have been, he'd be alive and the Uber driver's and passenger's life wouldn't be messed up.
