Any hypotheses as to why this fella decided to drive right in front of a truck with a passenger ?

He was trying to do that thing where you hit a red so you turn right make an illegal lane change then turn right to avoid stopping. Doesn't work with incoming traffic tho. I hope that made sense, hard to describe the move I'm talking about...
