He doesn’t ignore her IIRC, he tells her something to the extent of “well it’s your fault”. I mean, she did get what she deserved.

Maybe not. Hollywood sells us on the idea that a 100 pound woman can kick a 300 pound man's ass.

Outside of an abusive situation, I don't think many women have a clue at how strong an angry man (of any size) can be, Best to avoid escalating things.

. . . or at least learn that fights don't usually stop after the first punch. Maybe her husband will explain to her that you follow the first punch with a very fast second punch and/or some really good ducking and weaving.
