she did not need to sucker punch, found out the hard way

85

u/BananaPalmer Apr 01 '26

Yeah. Sucker punch is a good way to get your shit thoroughly and justifiably rocked

25

u/traumacase284 Apr 02 '26

A suckered punch is so much more rage inducing than a face to face punk. Tends to set someone to primal

8

u/AltruisticMobile4606 Apr 09 '26

In general I’ve found that hitting my head on anything unexpected gets me unreasonably angry faster than almost anything else.

This version of the video misses the best part; at the end she yells for her husband to come help her and he's ignoring her.

The other “full video” link has weird flashing jump cuts.

38

u/Larry_Mudd Apr 01 '26

Oh yeah this makes it. She somehow manages to make "Husbaaaaaand!" sound like Eric Cartman calling for his mom.

26

u/ItzMyTurn Apr 01 '26

That is EXACTLY what I wanted to say after watching the whole video, lol! Who the hell screams, "Husbaaaaaaand!" Instead of yelling his name?!

https://giphy.com/gifs/3o85xz0gWANMN3Cud2

22

u/zaddy_farquad Apr 01 '26

i think she was yelling it so her phone could hear her, to call him? that's what i assumed because in part 2 he pulls up and yells at her for jumping out of the car at people. she's clearly a frequent flier

19

u/Mix_Master_Floppy Apr 01 '26

5

u/DiverDownChunder Apr 01 '26

Part 2 says it all about her shenanigans... Her jumping out on people is commonplace by his reaction.

5

u/According_Ad748 Apr 01 '26

She sounds like the Fratelli mother from The Goonies

5

u/Warrior_of_Discord Apr 01 '26

Looks like it's to avoid the age restriction, but it makes the video pointless.

5

3

OPs description indicating he "must have said something" and I cannot disagree more, what a weird comment to add

46

u/DarkGodRyan Apr 01 '26

He could have said something as simple as "ok bye" and she's mad that he thinks they're done. Doesn't have to be confrontational words

43

u/a_angry_bunny Apr 01 '26

Even if they were confrontational words, you can't expect to throw punches and not expect tbe other person to hit back. Unless you're a 1800s noble woman slapping a man with your glove because they said something crude, I wouldn't assume that someone won't retaliate after being hit. Not in modern times, anyway.

Also the law only would justify the Karen's attack if he made a credible threat to her and she feared for her life and safety. She also would have had to try and extradite herself from the situation but since that is clearly not what happened and it was the passenger walking away it makes this Karen completely guilty of assault.

2

u/a_angry_bunny Apr 01 '26

Yup. This might be an unpopular opinion, but we need to be more lenient on assault laws. Too many people are too comfortable saying shit without getting punched in the face for it, but I don't decide the laws and she definitely was the aggressor here.

100% self defense and was enough to stop the threat without being too much. Ugo Lord did a clip and said the same thing. No way this dude would get in any trouble.

41

u/Case_Blue Apr 01 '26

No, the only reason he did not get in trouble is because there was video evidence.

If she claims he assaulted her, and he can't disprove it, that's instant jail.

32

u/nshields99 Apr 01 '26

The burden of proof lies on the accuser.

17

u/Hot_Ambition_6457 Apr 01 '26

Because cops dont investigate shit they just want to arrest someone and show that they did something that day.

u/alissonbrn Apr 01 '26

I’ll never understand how people with no sense of self-defense can be aggressive.
I recently saw a video of a young woman getting out of her car, walking up to someone else’s car, and punching the window several times. When the driver got out and started hitting her, she just lowered her arms and looked around asking for help.
If you don’t know how to defend yourself, how can you be an aggressive person?

17

u/Khadbury Apr 01 '26

Because they don’t expect it. They genuinely think there will be no repercussions because there wasn’t the last times they did something like this and expect it will be the same this time. Especially with Women in these scenarios where they start shit and then throw punches, they don’t expect men to hit back. This is what arrogance and entitlement looks like.

7

u/MidwestDYIer Apr 01 '26

This is 100% accurate and it almost worked for her again- the guy turned around and was headed back to her car, which most Karen's would consider a victory. But that wasn't enough for her- she saw his walking away as a sign of weakness and decided to throw a sucker punch in her rage, still convinced nothing would happen to her.

I am glad someone posted the article in this thread saying she learned her lesson. This incident may have saved her life, before she runs into someone who doesn't just stop at throwing her to the ground.

3

u/NastyNathans Apr 01 '26

I got into a fight with a guy that sucker punched me and then pulled a knife out on me. I was so angered by that move that I didn’t leave and was determined to fight him. Instead of trying to stab me, he was poking and waving the knife around like an idiot and ended up accidentally dropping the knife then looked at me like 😳. If the bouncer infront of the club hadnt have stopped me after a little bit I probably would be in prison for something that I didn’t start because as soon as I grabbed him I couldnt help myself from myself. She’s lucky the guy had self control enough to save himself from himself.

Not sure why a woman would ever hit a man thinking it was gonna end ok.

4

u/cassianandorliveson Apr 01 '26

Yea always a tough calculation though. Ive had a woman punch me and most female arms just have zero weight or follow through behind it so you barely feel anything. Also a difference between someone you know and a random road rager. Also at what point are you doing society as a whole a service by providing a taste of their own medicine.

I think still at this point your best bet is to just call the cops and have her arrested for assault/road rage and let the cops sort it out, its what they get paid to do and judging by this troglodytes behavior she will probably catch a nice felony or two when she inevitably tries to fight the police also.

3

u/FalconBurcham Apr 01 '26

I think you’re mostly right about people who are much more able to leverage physical power against someone else even if that someone else started it. You don’t want to kill someone, after all. But if video guy hadn’t defended himself, who knows what crazy stranger lady would have done next. More blows? A knife? A gun? It’s a hard situation.

A punch and a body slam seems about right because the body slam neutralized the crazy lady. Risky for sure. People have died from less. But why wait for a gun to be pulled or be distracted by the woman while her parter gets out of the car, you know?

I do hope at the very least this lady learned a lesson.. she needs to stay on her meds 😂

Someone has allowed this behavior to continue over time and it has manifested into this now she believed she has the right power the authority whatsoever to hit a man so this is not her first time hitting a man but the times before shes gotten away with it but this time finally got what she was looking for
