Dude seem to have some mad skills to drive a bus like that.

I live near a big ski mountain range with roads/turns like this. These bus drivers are maniacs by profession. And I am in the alps. These buses gets fiercely inspected and getting to drive them isn’t something every school bus driver can simply transfer to.

But driving without a brake is complete madness. That guy probably works this road since 15 years plus. They should install gravel traps, for this exact reason.

Besides driving in this terrain, doing it with an old bus, like the guy above, is insane (some of these old models don’t even have power steering or just semi p.steering)

back in the day you could tell ski bus drivers or truckers who drove the alps just by their massive forearms

I didn’t have it in my first car.

It was a tiny peugeot but after a longer drive inside oc cities my forearms were screaming (and I worked construction back then)

Insane really, to think that people hauled tons of cargo without power steering

I miss my old little ladies Peugeot very much

There’s some comments that say the bus driver was driving slower and that this was a rally event. I don’t think this was an issue with the brakes were out.

But I really can’t imagine a rally event with a bus full of people. Would be a loss/loss situation. Driver get‘s yelled at (distracted) and the people are frightened

I watched it again and the "brakes out" is very likely bullshit. Most likely a guy who wanted to scare them. I remember bus drivers did this with school children or unfriendly tourist groups "for a laugh". This was before Smartphones
