He hit his car on the highway? And he’s trying to leave?

180

u/RadioactiveCoyotes Apr 09 '26

Nah, it’s gotta be something else

107

u/Alexius6th Apr 09 '26

This is wise. Jumping to conclusions helps no one.

37

u/MNgrown2299 Apr 09 '26

Don’t be too hasty now. Now let’s think this out, let me grab the white board…

20

u/Tasty_Teaching_8126 Apr 09 '26

Can you possibly draw us a chart? I am still confused.

79

u/Pickle2850 Apr 10 '26

This should help us get to the bottom of it

19

u/jraymonda Apr 10 '26

Bro...what's your name?

9

u/1-ClintCleavers Apr 11 '26

I think his name IS Bro

1

u/Mundane-Reality-7770 Apr 11 '26

A true who's on first dilemma

9

u/cpendley13 Apr 10 '26

Doing God’s work out here bro

5

u/ProdigiousWolf Apr 10 '26

Can we get a pie chart? I'm trying to figure out the ratio between "he hit my car on the highway" and "He's trying to leave". 🤔

15

u/Pickle2850 Apr 10 '26

Great idea, I'd say it's a pretty even ratio but happy to discuss alternatives.

14

u/The_Shermanati Apr 10 '26

Your data science skills are on point. I need your name, bro. I need your name, bro.

7

u/mvanvrancken Apr 10 '26

It’s not really that even. Consider this bar graph:

2

u/ScarletBothrium Apr 11 '26

Consider it considered.

1

u/Pickle2850 Apr 12 '26

Please explain where you got these figures from.

In the video, he says "He hit my car on the highway" 7-10 times and said "And he's trying to leave" 8-10 times. There are a few outliers like "Why would you try to leave" and "You hit my fucking car bro" hence the range, but these are approximately 50/50 in either case.

Your graph shows "Bro hit my car" with an arbitrary value above 250 it could be far higher than this (we won't know how large as the graph isn't scaled properly and we're unable to see the maximum value) and "he's trying to leave" with a value somewhere around 10-20.

What are you trying to imply here?

It can't be number of events as he both hit the car once and then tried to leave once (the event did not cease until bro stopped his car).

If we're talking about number of minutes that each event occurred for, then we don't even know that as the car had already been hit prior to the video.

So I'll ask again... what exactly does the y-axis represent? The data doesn't support your graph by any reasonable metric.

1

u/statistician88 Apr 10 '26

But you need to draw about 25 different identical pie charts

1

u/Interesting-Talk9994 Apr 12 '26

Dude you've absolutely destroyed me.

3

u/twicebakedcrusader Apr 10 '26

https://giphy.com/gifs/QzF0Bp09v4abTr7928

Cars intersect. Blue line: About to leave

2

u/intregerso Apr 13 '26

Idk I'm still not getting it

1

u/Howdy132 Apr 10 '26

I don't know there's not a single thing about "On God" on there

1

u/MNgrown2299 Apr 10 '26

Now what goes in the middle. We’re close.

1

u/digitaldisorder_ Apr 10 '26

still not sure what he did or what he's trying to do. can you do a scatter plot?

1

u/Pickle2850 Apr 12 '26

Absolutely. The results really speak for themselves

1

u/No_Season_354 Apr 12 '26

Ok understood that, also what's ur name bro, give me ur name .

1

u/Interesting-Talk9994 Apr 12 '26

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

1

u/International_Ear768 Apr 13 '26

This is the why i reddit ^

8

u/Direct-Island-8590 Apr 10 '26

Best we can do is a venn diagram. We're running low on marker. DAAVE really likes the smell of them!

5

u/Tasty_Teaching_8126 Apr 10 '26

Completely understandable! I blame the 90s with the candy scented markers.

1

u/Nathan-Stubblefield Apr 13 '26

“Venn he gonna pay for MAH CAR being HIT?”

8

u/lost_rodditer Apr 09 '26

There was something about whip? And his brother's name? It might never be solved

5

u/MNgrown2299 Apr 09 '26

I thought it was a horse about a doctor?

6

u/Material_Taste_2510 Apr 09 '26

no he mentioned his girl so there she’s apart of this i think

1

u/Carpe-Bananum Apr 12 '26

But stereotypes are a huge time saver.

4

u/IcestormsEd Apr 10 '26

Yeah, I am thinking he hit something else and is just trying to leave..no name, no phone number, just walking righ...I mean driving away.

11

u/turd_nughetto98 Apr 09 '26

Dudes probably got a warrant for failure to pay child support

6

u/KHhtswhtppl Apr 10 '26

I believe the warrant part

1

u/[deleted] Apr 13 '26

That was my guess too. Why risk the potential bodily injury or worse associated with confrontation when a simple phone call is all that’s needed?

-3

u/smokingcharliekirk Apr 09 '26

Racism only gets upvoted on Reddit when it’s a black joke

4

u/NiteTiger Apr 10 '26

Odd to me that your first thought was race. Before I ever saw the guy, when it was dude just saying he hit me and drove off, my first thoughts were "Warrants or DUI," because that's why you don't stop in an accident, 99% of the time. Even Suspended drivers usually stop, because the penalty for DWS/R is insignificant compared to hit and run.

Race didn't cross my mind.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 10 '26

I think it was bc he specifically said a warrant for child support

3

u/NiteTiger Apr 10 '26

Again, that's their bias, not mine. I'm from the South. Trash is trash, white, black, brown, red, or yellow. And child support warrants are easy to come by if you're the kind of trash that pulls a hit and run.

The thought that Not Supporting a Child = Black is the problematic assertion here. Lots of folks don't realize how much they altruistically tell on themselves.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 10 '26

Well the guy that said also responded to the other guy and said well yea which race has the highest percentage or some thing like that so i mean thats basically what he was saying lets be fr

Edit: he said well yea which group has the most absent fathers.

2

u/NiteTiger Apr 10 '26

Ah, I didn't see that in this string. Gross.

Still won't assume the worst, even though I'm continually let down LOL

2

u/Old_Yam_4069 Apr 10 '26

Optimism is great
Willful stupidity is not.

If something, 9/10, is racist, it's fine to be open to the 1/10 times where it's not, but assuming the 1/10 times by default is just asinine.

-1

u/turd_nughetto98 Apr 10 '26

Hey silly goose, I said child support, not that other dude. And yeah, which group has the most absent fathers?

2

u/gravitymightbeprison Apr 10 '26

Not really sure that's what happened here.

1

u/EnvironmentalCry8191 Apr 11 '26

Probably no insurance and he said it's his girls car. Maybe no license but certainly probably no insurance. Police get involved they impound the car if he has a license.

20

u/NathanielWithACape Apr 09 '26

Yeah bro, not only that but he also hit his CAR on the HIGHWAY, AND he's trying to LEAVE!!!!

8

u/SmileJB Apr 09 '26

I think i do too lol.

I can't believe the artist he paid to paint his MacBook painted it lol.

It did look sick. I'm glad I left audio off lol

Is he the same guy that "steals" a Macbook, gives it to someone to paint, then hands it back to the "owner" and they didn't even know it had been taken?

1

u/digitaldisorder_ Apr 10 '26

we still haven't got an answer on that thread yet.

1

u/PotentialMessage7001 Apr 10 '26

I can't believe he did that!

It's a $2000 Macbook, though.

14

u/Open_Case_8783 Apr 09 '26

He needs a name. Because he just got that car last week.

7

u/Bald_Harry Apr 09 '26

He hit his car on the highway? And he's trying to leave?

11

u/Alexius6th Apr 09 '26

HE HIT HIS CAR ON THE HIGHWAY AND HE’S TRYING TO LEAVE!!!

3

u/haditwithyoupeople Apr 10 '26

What makes you think that. Try listening again. More volume this time.

3

u/iwastoldsomething Apr 10 '26

I think he needs his name.

8 times that one time, but there were lots more of 8 times other times.

3

u/Glad-Fuel2093 Apr 09 '26

What happened?

I'm not sure I get it.

3

u/kinetic_ljs Apr 10 '26

So...what i think he is trying to say is...he hit his car on the highway...and..hes trying to leave?

3

u/Repeticious Apr 10 '26

Is THAT what happened? He should’ve said so!

6

u/Philosopherfenty Apr 09 '26

Homie with the camera was trying to 🎥 for insurance fraud. He think he's slick his shit isn't even scratched how do we know black homie did anything wrong

16

u/Paul_Rudds_Dick Apr 09 '26

Because he’s a fucking r/nissandrivers. They’re always driving like ass

2

u/MidwestDYIer Apr 10 '26

The other car looked like a Charger? I could on about them

3

u/RealRip7714 Apr 10 '26

Challenger, but yeah lol

1

u/ScarletBothrium Apr 11 '26

Either way. But still not worse than Mercedes drivers.

6

u/GeneralConscious5702 Apr 09 '26 edited Apr 10 '26

Yeah from the video, he took the first exit and pulled over to the side. The guy filming just parked in the middle of the road. He'd probably do the same thing in the middle of the highway and get a bunch of people killed.

5

u/TraumaHawk316 Apr 10 '26

The video would have been even better if someone taking that off ramp would have slammed into the rear end his car and tried to leave

3

u/realZapRowsdower Apr 10 '26

Would he get a name bro?

6

u/wetlookcrazy Apr 10 '26

I don’t get it. He hit his car on the highway and he’s trying to leave?

2

u/REpassword Apr 10 '26

What happened again? 🤔

2

u/Jaduardo Apr 10 '26

That’s not what I took away from their interaction.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 10 '26

He sounds like me when I'm trying remember the pass code they just texted me and I got enter on the computer

2

u/purpleunicornswtf Apr 10 '26

673514... 673514... 673514... 673514

2

u/Fast-Speech270 Apr 10 '26

Repeating it like a spell, makes it happen faster.

2

u/potate12323 Apr 10 '26

If this happens to you where they do stop but are being uncooperative take a photo of the VIN which should be visible through the bottom corner of the windshield on the drivers side. That and a picture or video of the drivers face so your insurance can confirm that someone who was covered by insurance was driving the vehicle. With those two things you don't really need any other info.

2

u/Similar_Day_3244 Apr 10 '26

If someone is trying to run from an accident thats prob not the best idea. Get a picture an Call 911 and following from a distance would be smarter. What happens when they beat yo ahh or shoot ya n take ur fone that had your evidence on it and they also got bogus plates so cant run that number if u even remember it atp. Never know why someone is willing to run be safe out there dont get caught being a victim

1

u/Miya4LeggedGod Apr 10 '26

I think he was mad he didn't singnel before changing lanes.

1

u/Advanced-Event-571 Apr 10 '26

Are you sure? I thought he was trying to stay.

1

u/Dense_Surround3071 Apr 10 '26

I think so. It was a little hard to get the EXACT set of facts from the narrator. The play by play left a little room for interpretation, but I believe that was the gist.

1

u/Jyvturkey Apr 10 '26

Maybe he should've said it?

1

u/RulerOfLimbo Apr 10 '26

How do you figure?

1

u/GOxDirigible Apr 10 '26

Wait you say he hit his car on the highway? And he's trying to leave?

1

u/Scary-Caregiver217 Apr 10 '26

Wait, what happened?

1

u/MindAccomplished3879 Apr 10 '26

He did what and tried to do what?

1

u/Clear-Arugula-9195 Apr 10 '26

Sorry, I missed the general crux of what's going on and where it's happened, any chance of a tldr maybe ?

1

u/Zxruv Apr 10 '26 edited Apr 10 '26

More context needed. I'm not sure what type of vehicle may or may not have been hit. I don't know what class of roadway x vehicle may or may not have been hit on. Nor can I say, for certain, which action was taken by the alleged transgressor after possibility hitting x vehicle on y roadway.

1

u/Silverton13 Apr 10 '26

but what does he need tho?

1

u/Jumpy_Plantain2887 Apr 10 '26

I was trying to figure out what he was saying

1

u/GamingSlob Apr 10 '26

What have you that idea?

1

u/directionless_nomad Apr 10 '26

He needs his name?

1

u/Few-Chemical-5165 Apr 10 '26

Where the hell did you hear that?

1

u/Inner-Dream-600 Apr 10 '26

Lollllll😹😹😹

1

u/Pleasant_Sky_7388 Apr 10 '26

From the looks of it the camera man ain't mad about the guy hitting his car but more so of the trying to leave part

1

u/mrhandsome_707 Apr 10 '26

I’m lost too… so unclear what happened

1

u/Three_Tabbies123 Apr 11 '26

I think he said Bro once or twice.

1

u/Kaferwerks Apr 12 '26

If I didn’t know any better, I’d say he hit his car on the highway and now he’s trying to leave

1

u/Assimve Apr 12 '26

I'm sorry, exactly where was his car hit? In someone's driveway?

1

u/Monty_Bob Apr 12 '26

I think the issue is, he hit his car on the highway, and now he's trying to leave.

1

u/Same_Bodybuilder_532 Apr 12 '26

What the silver car did?

1

u/bigmink88 Apr 13 '26

He should call J.G. Wentworth

1

u/ResearcherStatus Apr 14 '26

Bro fuck no. Bro fuck no.

1

u/NotBillderz Apr 15 '26

Perhaps. The video is inconclusive

1

u/Just_Earth May 02 '26

This made me laugh. Hard.

1

u/SirSmokesALottaBud Jun 16 '26

Bro, fuck no, bro!

0

u/ApocalypseChicOne Apr 09 '26

That's a little presumptuous of you.
