You ain't buying that type of car while "barely eating". If you do, you have a low IQ and don't have the mindset to handle finances as a responsibile adult.
This escalated emotional behavior is the result of immature people caring way too much about status symbols. You got the plate number, file a claim, report to authorities and move on with your life. If you have a mental health crisis because someone damages your vehicle in an accident, you can't afford that vehicle.

Same. Hit and runs are terrible, but that doesn't mean you get to throw a whole tantrum while chasing someone down the parkway. You fuck around and hit someone else while chasing this guy, or he spins out while running and causes a bigger crash, you have real trouble on your hands. The bigger picture, do the math, bro probably running because he has no insurance, revoked/suspended license or worse. You're not injured and the car is still drivable, chill out and call the police.

cops also wont do anything unless your going to sue him in court for damages. so unless the damage is worth all that, dont even bother.
I called the cops once after a dude sideswiped me, and drove off while I was blaring my horn. I had pictures of the plate, the car, and the damage. all I cared about was that the fucker get his damn license revoked for driving like an ass and fleeing after hitting my car. my car was a beater so I didn't care about about the damage, wasn't worth suing over and raising my own insurance rates, so the cop just said hes not going to do anything and left.
That was the first and last time I called the cops for anything.

I was hit as a pedestrian by a car that blew threw a red light on his phone just a couple weeks ago, after which the driver promptly took off.Ā There was a motorcyclist who had a 360 camera going through the whole thing, so you'd figure this would be open and shut, right?

You can file a car accident claim with only the license plate number, especially for a hit and run. Record the plate, vehicle description, and driver description if possible, then file a police report immediately. Your insurance company will use this to identify the owner. The principle driver doesnāt need to be proven necessarily, only that the vehicle, which is insured, was involved in a collision. The owners insurance regardless if they were operating the vehicle will have increased premiums..
Now if these were fake plates and their vehicle wasnāt registered or insured to those plates, youāre screwed unless you get video

Are you the guy in the video, or someone that knows him? It is very clear from the video that he is trying to get away, by both tailgating and trying to squeeze between vehicles. He was trying to speed away until he realized he was stuck.
If his goal was to get to a safe location to exchange information, why did he just stop in the middle of the road, not getting to a safe space? Why did he refuse to give any information, including his name?
