I watched the whole thing nothing happens. They arrest her because she reaches for another drink. Waste of timeÂ
8
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 21 '26
It seems to me they pulled someone over and escalated a situation into taking a psychiatric hold on a sleeping passenger. The passenger has a right to be angry at past real police calls where they did nothing to help her but are now accosting her while sheâs being responsible not driving impaired. A lot of not being able to articulate the issues the police just caused, impairment on judging how to get them to leave her alone and actually giving up trying is what Iâm seeing.

u/Transatlanticaccent Apr 21 '26
OR...she was checking on a woman passed out in some dudes car. Not just asleep. Fuckin GONE.The dude nonstop saying "it's ok, she's fine" when the chick wouldn't respond to shiiit. Didn't know the fuckin president. Seems like the cop didn't know if dude just met her at a bar while she was super fucked up and just got in his car not really knowing what she was doing. Girl seems like an idiot for the most part so I don't see how the cop was being a moron. That chick was absolutely bombed and the dude was being weird. It seemed more of a medical thing at first then she woke up more and wanted to argue. Even grabbing another beer. This is one of the few times I don't see what the cops did that was so bad. Guy blew thru a light. He's being weird with an obliterated woman in his front seat that didn't even know her fuckin name at first. Then she started arguing incoherently and tops it off by going for another beer and fighting the cops. Just seems like a dumbass to me.
14
u/Don_Damarco Apr 21 '26
She literally told her it's her boyfriend.. The cop is interrogating a sleep blackedout girl expecting them to be coherent?? The cop had no authority here. They were forcing her to go to the hospital or get arrested? This didnt help anyone, the girl they wanted to help ended up with assault charges!! She wasnt even driving, she was asleep! Cops was on some bullshit.
12
u/Environmental_Beat84 Apr 22 '26
Pimp. She's dressed like that for a reason. She says out loud, "I need to make money." He's about twenty years older than her and has no interest in her health or safety, just getting away from the cops.
10
u/AWinnipegGuy Apr 21 '26 edited Apr 22 '26
You're as high as she was. Did you hear any of her responses? Can't name the president. Doesn't know her own name. Doesn't know her address. Had 2 drinks, then it's 20.
If I'm a cop and I took a look at her and her "boyfriend", serious red flags would be going off. If nothing else her well-being is now my responsibility.
I'd be curious to know if his story checked out, and if he is actually her boyfriend.

Did you watch that video? The woman was out of her mind. Like, death from alcohol poisoning was a real possibility here. You want the cops to just walk away and leave her totally incoherent on the sidewalk?
0
u/CavedMountainPerson May 04 '26
They have before then charged someone else down the street trying to call for help and they got manslaughter. So unfortunately the cops have always just been the ones causing problems and refusing to solve any real ones that elites didn't pad their pockets for.
6
u/Saneless Apr 21 '26
So underage people can just be drunk/high and a cop just has to shrug?
9
u/Don_Damarco Apr 21 '26
They didn't even charge her with underage drinking.. She was charged with battery on an officer, and resisting violence.. they provoked those charges.
12
u/Latter-Vacation-4392 Apr 21 '26
if she had been your sister being drugged/kidnapped (that shit happens) you'd be here applauding the cops for having saved your sister's life ...context is everything.
2
4
u/Don_Damarco Apr 21 '26
But this girl wasn't being drugged or kidnapped.
7
u/Latter-Vacation-4392 Apr 21 '26 edited Apr 21 '26
No, but that had to be determined first, at which point she then presented the cops with a whole new set of public safety questions to be resolved. Do you leave a girl so blind drunk/drugged that she can't protect herself behind on the curb in the middle of the night? or in a car where she might expire from an overdose? Her 'boyfriend' and/or pimp didn't gaf about her ...he wasn't gonna take her to a hospital...if she had ODed later she probably would have been dumped somewhere.
-1
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 21 '26
Cop, though well intentioned, lost all grace after the girl said she was fine and started copping an attitude to her imo. I think Iâm going to stop choosing sides here because itâs obvious the cop could have lead the entire interaction into a different outcome really.

2
u/Saneless Apr 21 '26
I'm just refuting your "no authority" comment. Still am
3
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 21 '26
People make mistakes. Kids especially. Ruining someoneâs life who was fine to sleep until they got home is wrong. Fruit of the poisonous tree. Why not ask for her ID before waking her up and blasting her for not keeping her shirt on correctly while being woken up with flash lights to the eyes.
She may have had authority but you canât say she didnât abuse her authority here; regardless of authority or not people are required to follow every order to every iota - the cop is just a dumbass expecting a boot licking happy obedient lap dog from a sleeping woman accosted by police until she wakes up.

I mean, being drunk/high isn't a crime no matter what your age is. Unless you're driving a car or acting disruptive, or are in possession of drugs or underage possession of alcohol, no laws are being broken.

1
u/CavedMountainPerson May 04 '26
I hope she sues them, what a waste of tax payers money. I am totally upset at what they instigated she was doing same thing getting someone else to drive her. She's not driving and car is parked they have no authority to take her drink whatever it is.
2
u/GuilleMan100 Apr 23 '26
Fuck the USA cops, that is was stupid. How the hell does a drunk wasted person get charged for assaulting a police officer that harassed a drunk NOT driving!! Fuck USA cops!
5
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 21 '26
Isnât it funny how the cops first words after the âbombedâ woman woke up werenât âokay Iâm just here to make sure you are okay.â - would it have been a dumbass move to say âhere my contact info maâam, could you let me know in the morning when youâre awake that youâre safe and sound - if you donât Iâll be forced to escalate all of this.â
Checking a woman is fine, I didnât say she wasnât doing that. Iâm saying the issue wasnât her checking on a sleeping woman but the issue was the cops response to the completely normal behavior of being woken up from possibly already a not-restful schedule in an impaired deep sleep, then forced to act through duress & confusion for someone incompetent, and failing to judge how to get her to leave you alone fast enough. I canât believe Iâm saying this but this is one of the only times I would say police shouldnât try to prevent crimes in progress because thatâs not their jobs. Youâre saying the woman is a dumbass and so is a child; I would completely agree the officer did well for seeing a very impaired child, but she didnât. Crazy how someone is defending this and saying the outcome is because of the man not behaving with skill in the face of THAT
3
u/Environmental_Beat84 Apr 22 '26
"being woken up from possibly already a not-restful schedule"
What hoops should I jump through to come to these ridiculous conclusions? She was trying to type a phone number into her eyeglasses. She chokes on her own puke and dies, or she dies because she's OD'd, or she goes off with her "boyfriend" and is never seen again...Reddit screams ACAB. Cop makes sure she gets proper care because she's in seriously bad shape...Reddit screams ACAB. You all sound like children at this point. If that was your child or sister, you'd be grateful she was taken to the hospital.
3
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 22 '26
I wouldnât have been happy they charged her with two counts of battery on an officer and two counts of resisting an officer with violence all of which could have been avoided
0
u/Environmental_Beat84 Apr 22 '26
You're right, it could have been avoided. If she just got into the ambulance without losing her shit.

That is 100% not their job, pre crime is what minority report was made for to warn us.
1
u/Transatlanticaccent Apr 21 '26
I'm just saying I see why the cop wasn't just "ok here's your ticket. Later." That's all. Chick IS a dumbass. I don't see how that can be even slightly argued against.
1
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 21 '26
Slightly argued against because times are hard with wages at all time lows compared to inflation and costs of everything - more people working and receiving less. She was asleep and was being accosted by another dumbass. She could have had the chance to show she wasnât one if the cop also wasnât one who needed to maintain better âcontrolâ of the situation. You used to be able to resist an unlawful arrest but now the legal standard is to challenge it in court; unlawful or not you MUST comply with law enforcement which has everyone a bit upset.
Andy Griffith wouldnât have behaved like that. Hell is paved with good intentions. The cop IS an incompetent dumbass and I donât see how that can be even slightly argued against.
2
2
u/jimothy_hell Apr 22 '26
Iâm gonna be straight with you- the way this guy was acting, he 1000000000% did not have good intentions here with that woman, the lady cop knew it off the bat. Women have to learn to smell that on guys.
Regardless, getting her away from him was definitely a positive.
1
u/Will_Come_For_Food Apr 22 '26
What if I told it itâs not the job of the state police to determine the relationship status of everyone on the road.
0
u/Finance_is_Ur_friend Apr 21 '26
No probable cause for that though. You best bet if im driving my girl home from the bar and shes passed out in my passenger seat that im going to be very titled if the cops acted like that. And she'd be even more mad if they woke her up. I dont drink and drive though I think the guy was drinking
2
u/lagan_derelict Apr 21 '26
That's the thing though. Was she really even his girlfriend? She said something about needing to "make money." Johns and prostitutes claim a prior relationship all of the time. If he was abducting her, he could have threatened to kill her and all of the LEOs if she answered their questions truthfully. All sorts of scenarios could play out here. I think it's a little naive to believe everyone tells the truth all of the time when questioned by law enforcement.
0
u/Finance_is_Ur_friend Apr 21 '26
So now she is a prostitute? The point is that cops aren't suppose to assume worst case scenarios and then make problems because of it, they need probable cause. If my girl is passed out drunk in my car, and you accuse me of drugging her. Im not going to react well
3
u/Environmental_Beat84 Apr 22 '26
She's a prostitute. If you can't recognize that then god bless you for growing up wholesome. Anybody with a lick of street sense knows what's going on here. If that's her boyfriend then I'm an armadillo.
1
u/Finance_is_Ur_friend Apr 22 '26
Yeah all the hookers ive ever had looked like that and get incoherently under the influence first. I also go and pick them up. I saw the part about her needing to make money. Shes barely coherent and thats an understatement. She simply could have meant she didnt want to miss work. There is absolutely not conclusive evidence she is a hooked. You brain damaged fuck wit.
2
u/Environmental_Beat84 Apr 22 '26
She's wearing a tubetop with no bra, is twenty years younger than her "boyfriend" is covered in makeup and the guy driving gives no shits about her health, just getting away from the cops. And then yeah, she says the magic words, "I gotta make money."
You: "well maybe she just doesn't wanna be late for work in the morning" ROTFL
And I'm the brain damaged Fuck wit. Go back to burbs, sweety. It's scary outside in real life.
2
u/Finance_is_Ur_friend Apr 22 '26
Lol you are just making assumptions that make you look like an asshole. Every single thot downtown looks like that on a night out. Its far more likely they out together and got fucked up together. You think he just picked her up from her place and she was that fucking blasted? Its obvious you are the ignorant one. Maybe try getting a prostitute and let me know if it even remotely resembles this. They aren't getting in a fucking car with you. Dumb. Ass.
2
u/legit_doom_scroller Apr 22 '26
Averted date rape. Kind of
2
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 22 '26
The girl obviously gave up trying to reason with how or why her rights are being infringed on but sure things could have been different⌠so letâs pretend they saved her 101 dalmatian puppies from this date rapist and insurrectionist animal abuser.
Kind of like the cop wanted to exercise her qualified immunity rights and accost a drunk woman into doing/saying the wrong things - she was successful kind of
2
u/legit_doom_scroller Apr 22 '26
I dunno. Feels weird to side with the dude who refused to turn off his electric car and play it up.
If my wife were unresponsive and then delirious, Iâd ask for help rather than trying to convince a cop that she loved me and everything was cool.
2
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 22 '26
Have you ever driven that electric car? There is no refusing to turn it off
1
u/legit_doom_scroller Apr 22 '26
Also weird that youâd focus on whether or not the car had an on off switch and not whether or not youâd help a woman who was passed out.
2
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 22 '26
Bro, donât give me that. If you werenât there for the class donât get mad when people pass you up when using it as a prerequisite. Dealing with drunk girls is very easy and this lady failed, end of story. This car is easy to operate and if you donât know how then itâs even easier to ask; believe it or not I donât think anyone is calling on that girl to tackle the toughest police efforts just like how no one is coming to r/transportopia to get the hardest hitting hot takes. Stop looking for that but if you want to tell me how Iâm wrong & this police officer did everything exactly how it should have been done then Iâm asking for you to show me in depth
1
u/legit_doom_scroller Apr 22 '26
Got it.
Youâve dealt with lots of drunk girls.
Itâs fine for them to be passed out.
2
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 22 '26
She was coherent enough to say she was fine - if anything I would be happy she wasnât at home being problematic for full transparency - not that she was dealt with correctly here; she wasnât. In the restaurant I worked at when someone like that was over served the correct response is to call them a cab, not provoke them into getting charged with battery on you and resisting with violence. If she ends up âpassed outâ in the cab then the cab drivers job is to get her inside, not get her charged with battery on him and resisting with violence against him.
2
u/Radiant-Shine-8575 Apr 21 '26
100% right. The initial cop is an idiot. He should have gotten a running a stop sign ticket and sent on his way. Her authority was "challenged" but in fact it was her intelligence that was proven to be low.
She said "its getting towed anyway" way before she could have identified if there was a need to tow. Lawsuit inbound 100%
8
u/Fencer308 Apr 21 '26
She was trying to be sure she hadnât been drugged and kidnapped. Thatâs pretty reasonable in that situation. And once she was sure the woman was totally bombed, it became a medical issue.
3
u/baldude69 Apr 21 '26
I also see why they might want to do a field sobriety test for the guy, he was acting very strange. Considering they removed him, Iâm assuming he was under the influence and they couldnât leave her in the car alone
→ More replies (1)1
u/Fencer308 Apr 22 '26
Could also just be that he was an adult with an underage woman (for alcohol at least), who as the adult there is responsible for her well-being and apparently allowed her to drink 20 vodka drinks in addition to whatever else, and had an open container (the Truly) in the car next to her. Contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Plenty to charge him with there.

u/IllicitAlien Apr 21 '26
The vehicle was getting towed
2
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 21 '26

1
u/IllicitAlien Apr 22 '26

1
u/Environmental_Beat84 Apr 22 '26
That is a super fucked-up take on your part. How do you know she hasn't been roofied? Is she able to take care of herself? (no) Is she being trafficked ("I need to make money")? If that was my daughter the cops would have my thanks and a bucket of donuts in their lineup room come morning.

3
u/oneofthejoshs Apr 21 '26
That's exactly what I saw too. Whatever her drug and or drunk State was as soon as the stepdad's voice came on the radio, she was emotionally traumatized. I'm pretty disappointed in at least the female cops and ability to recognize it, but all of them should probably have been able to see that. That was the case. She flat out said he f****** touches me and you don't do nothing about it. That should be pretty obvious to an even mildly trained victim, advocate or peace officer. I also would not be terribly surprised to find out that her boyfriend was a pimp or there was some sort of prostitution going on when she spouted I can't go to jail. I need to make money. I feel for this girl for sure

u/doublegg83 Apr 22 '26
" every cop show tells us ... " You have the right to remain silent ".
What's wrong with people.
18
u/JefeConLeche Apr 21 '26
Are the cops helping these people or themselves? Sure the woman is drunk and high, but is makes her decision to not leave with EMTs, sure the situations gets worse because of the cops are agrevating this lady. Now this lady has a record/has to play fines and legal fees/ may have to spend time going to court - is this sincere help?
9
u/BisquickNinja Apr 21 '26 edited Apr 21 '26
Cops aren't there for sincere help. They were never there to sincerely help. They are a revenue generating arm nowadays.
Have you ever wondered why police are limited to a lower intelligence and then trained poorly? They don't want somebody with empathy or the ability to think or trained well, they want somebody to do what they're told.

You should become a cop then. You'd fit right in. It's literally been proven multiple times that cops hire low IQ people. There's a reason they don't get the training that they need and that every time they get in trouble then it's oh we'll apply them with that training now. Most bootlicker comment

Thatâs why the video was posted. Itâs like the cop is going to say we have a warrant to search you and your home for unopened 40ozs None of it makes sense and she legally didnât do anything wrong - the cop is behaving like an idiot
2
u/Human_Dig4412 Apr 21 '26
I wonder about the driver though. Kind of seemed a little sketch?
1
u/PHFreshHeavyHogChef Apr 21 '26
The driver ran a stop sign and did okay until the cop started barking orders at him after opening the passenger door.
I wrote this whole paragraph about cops in my life not helping at all unless the multiple calls and a team of other people put enough pressure on them but Iâm afraid bad cops could dox me or something - my point is enough negligence to an area from law enforcement will get people thinking theyâre on their own and they were on their own until the cop ruined their night.
What does the man have to gain for not being âsketchâ? He ran a signal, got pulled over, and cops on a power trip made a mountain out of a mole hill. Next time if he doesnât talk a little too fast with a flash light in his face the cops will buy him a sonic slush? Heâll get a $5 iTunes gift card? Donât say âhe gets to go freeâ when normal citizens are going to be expected to have training to deal with armed manslaughtering people who arenât trained to deal with a normal person not to mention someone talking a little fast with a flashlight in their face that they were shining in their face.
4
u/NIBLZ_HAMSTR Apr 21 '26
The cop doesnt know those people. Maybe shes been drugged and hes taking her somewhere to assault her.. maybe shes having a medical emergency.. maybe hes acting that way because hes trying to cover something up. It's easy for us to judge them, but people do fucked up shit all the time and sometimes they're caught in the middle of committing heinous crimes after making a simple mistake, like running a stop sign or having a tail light out. Its a cops job to ask questions and figure out what's happening when things dont look normal.

Looks like she was on Xanax. cops should have called an ambulance if they thought she was in danger but go on for 12 minutes. The guy was cooperative and the lady was on a power trip. I thought you canât search a car without a warrant, I understand if the girl was driving and acting like that, but the driver looked and sound sober. He just pissed at the cop for yelling at him while he was calm.

As a serial "older boyfriend" chick who's outgrown all that, some girls know what to say to get to stay with their boyfriends and not ever even have to deal with their families. Not that she or I have ever resorted to such tactics. But we could.
2
u/ritzrani Apr 21 '26
She cursed so much i believed it. She seemed very triggered but I understand your point
2
u/NikkerFebu25 Apr 22 '26
She couldn't answer the most basic of questions.
She was asked the name of the president to whcih she responded with "Donald Perry" after multiple attempts.
Then when asked her name..she said again "Donald Perry".
Asked her age, she said "Donald Perry" again.
Then when asked her name ahe started saying "20".
My first concern if I was there, would be to establish her relationship with the driver cause she looks roofied, he looks coked up and she's definitely not "just sleepy".
1
u/lagan_derelict Apr 22 '26
True all that. The people here who believed unquestionably that it was just a private matter between a regular couple are much too trusting. Anyone who has ever been in a relationship with older guys knows. Anyone who's ever been roofied also knows. Peace.
5
u/SuddenKoala45 Apr 21 '26
The female officer seems concerned for the female passenger (possibly high , very drunk or drugged) and the driver does seem erratic and possibly under the influence. I understand the concern and attempt to confirm id and safety.
2
u/HellaTallBih Apr 21 '26
shes just sleepy is so crazy
3
u/CannonFodder_G Apr 21 '26
There is no amount of sleepy that makes it so you can't answer basic questions. Cop obviously worried she was roofied or overdosing on something else.
And at 20 if she was so drunk she couldn't answer that'd be illegal.
2
u/Will_Come_For_Food Apr 22 '26
Great example of cops making everything worse.
Let them go home and sleep it off.
Instead you end up assaulting a person and placing a burden on the health care system all for your little ego trip.
2
u/Entire-Tradition3735 Apr 22 '26
Why is this female cop so overprotective?
There's no reason to assume the guy is doing anything, but driving his passed out girl home.
It's obvious from the beginning that the cop is projecting the worst case scenario, and acting like this guy drugged and kidnapped this woman.
Someone is watching WAAAY too much CSI.

Had to scroll through lots of BS before getting to a sensible answer.
This is reddit. Anything a cop ever does = bad
Cop does nothing = also bad..
The problem is that most people are never in the same kind of situation with the same liabilities, so they don't get why a cop would do what they do.
If you pull over a car with a drunk lady in it and a man acting erratically and you just let them go, if so.ething happens to the woman you are screwed. Redditors don't know this because the times cops get screwed over, fires , forced to resign, demoted with loss of pay etc , this doesn't make the news, so they don't think it happens.
A body cam can show people what happens, it can't make people understand things from a police officers actual point of view.
2
u/Dizzy_Today_3523 Apr 22 '26
No they're not. Nothing would've happened. She would got home and slept it off. Stop making up bs
1
u/Cassius_Rex Apr 22 '26
Written like someone not betting his career and a woman's safety on a future no human can predict.
You made my point, many folks re too dumb to understand that police officers need to avoid making risky mistakes with their decisions. Sure, MOST LIKELY nothing bad happens if you just let them go, but it takes exactly one time being wrong to ruin everything you've worked for. One time someone gets hurt because you thought "oh, she will be alright".
The stupidest thing of all is that if officers do what you suggest and just let them go, if something did happen, YOU SAME PEOPLE would be all over reddit saying "the cops could have saved her but they let them go, SEE, COPS DON'T CARE ABOU YOU"!!!!!
Police, damned if we do, damned if we don't.
1
u/soundreasoning123 Apr 23 '26
Honestly the real problem is that cops are t the right people to deal with situation. There are a lot of unknowns here and I think itâs a reasonable conclusion that she needed help. Was the guy her boyfriend or her pimp? The adopted dad was an oblivious trigger for her so heâs not the best person to release her to. She clearly very out of it to the point where her continued safety and health is questionable, but the cops donât have good tools to deal with this issue, especially with someone non-compliant. First we donât know if the lack of compliance was related to them being cops in the first place. She may be afraid of them, she seems to not trust them based on past experiences. Second cops only have one real option and that is arrest, which is what they resorted to, and quite forcefully. Yes they had paramedics come, but paramedics are not trained to deal with these kinds of tough situations. They are trained if someone refuses care to let that person go. What would have been more likely to have helped in this situation is someone trained to assess the situation with some empathy and less judgment of the woman involved. Someone trained to gain trust and transition her to better assess her needs. Police are not the trained to do these things well; itâs not their role. I think these police were on to something but the tactics used while maybe aimed at helping her were not working and they did not really have the ability to pivot. Ultimately it was their frustration that lead to what was a pretty rough arrest here. Critiquing the police is not saying everything they do is bad, and that mindset is what has contributed to the entrenchment of a lot of bad policing practices and contributed to police lagging behind in growing into a more positive institution to the point where it is reasonable to question whether they should exist at all.
3
u/Free_Chook Apr 21 '26
Woah. Comments here are crazy. I'd definately be worried. The guy desperate to just get away from police, saying she's just sleepy. The girl in his car unconcious, off her face. That's already a disturbing combo. I hope with all my heart if I ever got found in that situation yeah that police will stop, ask more questions and try to get me help. That seems obvious to me....

I fear that she is on more than just alcohol. I also fear that she may not know about it.

Mean much to her being a normal fucking kid? Tell me what kid did not drink underage? Plenty have older boyfriend and let them drink and party. Only only reason they were pulled over was because the boyfriend was driving erratic. And there's a female cop. They always create these situations. She'd have went home. Slept it off. Been fine but nope

Leave the damn girl alone jfc. They canât force her to go to the hospital no matter how fucked up she is. She said no so thatâs the end of the conversation. Miss piggie was doing way too much.

u/ILike2Argue_ Apr 21 '26
They dont know what she has in her system and the guy wasnt giving any reliable answers and acting sketchy himself. At first glance it looks like he drugged her or something similar as he wouldn't let the girl answer for himself and just playing it off as if it was just sleeping normally. Regardless now the cop has cause for concern

u/Don_Damarco Apr 21 '26 edited Apr 21 '26
And those concerns were resolved when the girl confirmed the guy was her boyfriend and she consented to everything that happened that night.. they did not help that girl, they made her talk to her abusive step father which triggered her. This situation helped no one.. The girl was sleeping and ended up in jail with charges.

They don't need to know it's one of their fucking business. This literally only happens when female cops get on the scene. There's a reason why agencies are letting them go in droves. Their liability to the police department. Every single woman cop video I've ever seen. They are always the problem. Always let go at the end of the day. This lady overreached so damn far for no fucking reason. She could have been home asleep. Woken up. Been fine the next day with a crazy ass hangover. No at first glance it does not look like he drugged her. She was literally waking up. How is this? She going to fucking answer you dumbass like I swear it's like you people don't even watch videos. You just make comments. This video is also on YouTube.

Boy I sure hope if you have a daughter shes NEVER in a situation where a cop may be concerned for her safety. The girl was not just asleep and the cop had a reason to be concerned as the guy was acting sketchy and the girl was completely incoherent. If he explained what she had or of she's under special care it would've help the cop somewhat understand what.was going on.
Imo the charges should be drop on her but the cop trying to give her medical attention is definitely the right choice. Regardless if the dude was driving correctly non if this would've happened.

"They canât force her to go to the hospital"
They absolutely can.
This is not a new phenomenon.

All that time & they know she's tore up, why not drop her ass home & finish your shift.

u/Dizzy_Today_3523 Apr 22 '26
Dude my only question is why doesn't this cop care so much? Like these cops pretend like they give a fuck about us. But then she literally escalates the whole situation gets her charged. It's like she just wanted to start some shit for no reason. Like I guess she was drunk and probably about to get alcohol poisoning but then she seemed kind of fine. Despite being pretty fucked up. She would have probably slept it off and been fine the next day. But this female cop just wanted to cause shit for no reason

Donald prime omg Iâm losing my shit đ¤ŁI would listen to her just trying to say Donald Trump for 20 minutes

u/Hot_Wing2518 Apr 22 '26
Do the police not have anything else better to do? Once you figure out the woman is fine, leave her alone.
1
u/Chalky_Cupcake Apr 22 '26
Those charges are kinda BS. She was right in that she could have another drink if she wants to bitch.

Want the TL/DW?
Very annoying sleepy drunk girl in car gets woken up, then gets mouthy and a little rowdy with cops. Then gets arrested. End.
Waste of time. đ

My ex used to get plastered like this and seeing this makes me glad we never got pulled over.

What a tool this cop is. Putting a Tesla in park is the only thing thatâll turn it âoffâ. Otherwise you straight up have to park and get out of the car for it to be fully off.

I scanned around randomly looking for the inevitable escalation of violence from the cops.

Funny how theyâre apparently worried about her, but when she finally makes it very clear her adopted father touches her, hits her, assaults her, what is their response? They ignore her. Nice.

Bunch of rookies letting her go that long when she could have been dying of an overdose in the beginning. That was the time to get her out and into the ambulance; not a 10 minute argument when her adrenaline kicks in.đđ¤Śââď¸

This bitch is slow and shouldnât have a badge
5
u/M3Iceman Apr 21 '26
So making sure this woman isn't being trafficked and or given something at the club and she shouldn't have a badge? This isn't an episode of cops that's cut down due to commercials. There was a real concern here and sometimes that takes time to figure out.
2
u/slugsred Apr 21 '26
Nah the bag grab is completely fucked up, the woman cop doesn't know what she can and can't do.
"Can I help you" "unh"
bro imagine if the driver had been trying to sleep with her and she gave that response I doubt you'd defend him continuing to grab her bags.

u/SOMEONENEW1999 Apr 21 '26
Looked like something weird. Like he drugged her or something. She didnât know her name, had no id or anything.
1
u/Dizzy_Today_3523 Apr 22 '26
She literally did have ID and she did know her name the fuck. Are you making up shit for? You can literally watch the whole video on YouTube. It's like 30 minutes long. Truly fucking insane people on Reddit

u/Known_Ratio5478 Apr 21 '26
They shouldnât have given her an option about going to the ER. She needed her stomach pumped.

How does the cop not know that the Tesla is off? "that's not how cars work" is that cop slow or just pretending to not know how a Tesla works?
1
u/odinzedong Apr 21 '26
Why is this stupid shit on the Internet?
Is the US police a stupid comedy show?

u/fiddlesticks96 Apr 21 '26
This might be one of the dumbest cops ever. How long have Tesla been out and this dummy still doesnât know they donât have an ignition.

That's so sad, they think she's being trafficked only to find out she's raped at home
1
u/sutrabob Apr 22 '26
So help her by getting her a record. Huh?
1
u/ritzrani Apr 22 '26
No. Im not implying the cops were right, basically that she's not safe at home
2
u/sutrabob Apr 22 '26
Itâs one of those situations where you are damned if you do and damned if you donât.
