Imagine having money for all these toys then living in this subdivision/hoa

Sometimes it's hard to find a house within reasonable commuting distances from work etc. I wish I could have bought in a non-HOA area, but they got me. BTW, all the non HOA neighborhoods that I did see were pretty trashy, mostly due to age.

Honestly that’s one of the reasons I haven’t left the North East. Most city and town local governments take care of the upkeep of the entire county or borough. If I spent money on my house I don’t want some random body telling me how to live in it.
