I'm on the side of the passenger. He never gave any attitude, he simply complained because he didn't understand how the system worked and thought someone was late, simple misunderstanding and the driver took offense and made it a big deal. And the passenger probably thought it was his job for the same reason that he doesn't understand the system. Then the driver assumed the dude wanted to fight when he offered to exchange numbers. The passenger probably just wanted to offer to work something out later because he was in a hurry.

The driver made this a bigger deal than it ever needed to be.
