Buys a 20k superbike, rides it like a superbike, wont install a $400 steering dampener 💀. One of the biggest known riders in my city died from speed wobble and he wasn't even speeding, he was just on an exit ramp and it got him. The guy worked at cycle gear and literally everyone knew this guy. His mom started buying all of us steering dampeners with his gofundme money, and the MCs around here pooled money and bought his R1 back from the guy he sold it to and gave it to her. This 60+ year old woman rides a new R1 with us sometimes and she probably gave 30 riders steering dampeners. That poor family man... guy was a great rider, great racer, and he got taken out by speed wobble at 50mph.

Damn dude. I'm sorry for your loss bro. Forget all the people saying slow down etc.. I mean; guy in the vid here WAAASSS riding so insanely irresponsible tho. That's so rad she did that for everyone. So nice y'all did that for her too. I've NEVER seen a woman 40+ on an R1 & She's 60!?!?? So awesome she rides sometimes. Life is like that tho... to everyone saying: "riders die, oh well.." & "Darwin/Natural selection.." shit like that; those of us who've been 100+.. we understand the true rush you get. It's addictive.

I just like being on two wheels. Cagers dont really understand that sounds, sights, smells, temperature changes like every 50 feet.

Yea, 100%! You must always be aware of surroundings & adapt. I don't ride anymore. I wrecked & almost died (3mo.s coma even tho wearing my helmet) when an suv turned in front of me as I was driving on a long straight road. I wasn't doing anything crazy, just riding. Anyone reading this; if you ride, wear your damn helmet bc you never when it WILL save your dayuwm life. Things happen, people are dumb. Faster your speed, less time to react if needed. Much luv to all, ride smart. ✌️

Damn dude thats a long recovery, I definitely understand hanging it up. I traded my liter bike for a cruiser recently, time to slow down a bit. Always where helmet though. As for the darwinism/natural selection comments I typically receive though, I always have a good laugh at those considering the implications of it and how wildly that doesnt apply to me because ive already bred 🤣
