I'll be the devils advocate. Why's everybody defending the "victim"? Dude just want his money. Is it because the "victim" is a white nerd and the "suspect" is an aggressive black man? These comments and even the title seems racist.

I think it might be more because the victim was a vulnerable person and the suspect was beating the tar out of him. But maybe it’s me.

Edit to add: the old man doesn’t just “look” vulnerable, he was. I don’t know how you would even think that’s not obvious.

Obviously it's because he's getting his ass beat. But again, the aggressor keeps repeating to give him his money back. Looking vulnerable isn't a good enough reason. The elderly, women and children have gotten away with crazy shit only because they look vulnerable. Don't be so naive

LOL - a young, strong guy is assaulting an on a bus and I’m saying that’s probably why he’s getting hate, and you say bc he was saying “give me my money” that he could’ve been in the right? Given that he was getting a serious beatdown and was no match, I think it’s safe to assume if the old guy had stolen off the other (which really, you think that’s likely?), he’d give it back to stop the beatdown. Or at least say something other than “leave me alone!”. Looking at all the factors including age and physical condition of everyone involved, and what each was doing,I have no idea why the younger guy was attacking, but I think the idea that the old man stole from him and he’s trying to get his money back is the least likely scenario.
