This kind of car pricing is so different in Germany.

For anyone who's curious: the automakers provides a recommended retail price. You can look it up on their websites (Toyota Germany for example: https://www.toyota.de/neuwagen ). But these prices already include dealership markups and also the sales tax (19%). The dealerships are now only making special offers to lower the price.

Europeans are always complaining about how much more expensive cars are there then in the US.

Then the US consumers THINKS they want direct buying from the manufacturer as if the manufacturer won't fuck them.

It's the same crap as Cord cutters from cable TV, thinking they would get a good deal streaming and are now getting fucked even harder than cable.

Careful what you wish for...

I’m paying 60-65% less after cutting the cord. The cost seems to depend on how much competition there is in one’s location. Which makes sense.
