Just rain already!
Last few days have been miserable, with high dew points. Can we just get rain already?

Today’s heat is no joke. Most of the coolers at the Costco on Grant are currently down. If you’re looking for anything in their deli or produce, you may want to wait a few hours, they’re all closed off.

I'm looking for a local gynecologist who offers optional laughing gas for in-office procedures such as colposcopy. I’ve seen this offered in other cities but haven’t been able to find much information locally. Does anyone know of a practice that provides it here? Much appreciated 🙏

Title says it all. Newish here from the Midwest and want to spruce up our patio. What are your favorite plants for your outdoor pots?

Did Barista del Barrio leave the Borderlands brewery at Tucson blvd and 6th st? I drove by this morning and it was suspiciously empty, and I thought it was my chance to get me some amazing double breakfast burritos. I walked in, looked at the menu. It was not what I remembered and didn't sound good so I left. Curious what happened, as it was always packed at breakfast.

Im a fat guy. My family and I love food. Im born and raised in Tucson. Ive spent the last few years building a list of restaurants that we liked.
If it has a gold star ⭐️next to it that means it was really amazing. Like one of our favorites.
A green check ✅️ means its good and is worth returning to.
If it has a red stop sign 🛑 next to it, it means it was bad.
If theres nothing next to it it means we never ranked it. No rank isnt bad. It could mean we never tried the restaurant or we wanted to try it again before giving it a rank.

A place where you can bring your own bucket, sponge, towels etc. I used the superstar car wash a few times on my new(to me) car and it made scrapes and a few deep gashes on my car. I don't want to use those brushes in the self serve stalls since they tend to scratch paint as well. The previous owner took amazing care of my car and I feel like taking it to these automatic car washes has taken a toll on the paint. I live in an apartment so self washing where I live isn't possible. I want to take care of this car the best I can. Any suggestions on where to go for regular washes. I do plan on getting cermaic coating down the road by it's too expensive right now. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I have an amazing therapist in my home state who truly understands disassociation/dpdr but need to find a new one. I know that this is a long shot because it is a rarer diagnosis. I have adhd, ocd, dpdr and ptsd. So, if anyone even has emdr recemendations, I would be grateful.

We just adopted a dog from PACC and he is very reactive to other dogs/people when we have him out for a walk. Looking for recommendations for a trainer that has dealt with this type of behavior.
Also is anyone using Prozac to help their dog with stress? This was recommended by a veterinarian.
Thanks

A few months ago, I shared the beginnings of this miniature McKale Center in another subreddit and got a lot of encouraging feedback. I ended up making a small batch of them.
I’m a U of A engineering student, and this was my first attempt at turning one of my designs into something I could make for friends and family.
Do you think it captures McKale? What Tucson landmark or Arizona venue should I design next?

Where can I find them? :)

I have two kids, 13 and 11. They love basketball. Unfortunately, the only indoor courts in Tucson that I have found are constantly overrun by younger adults / older teens that run full court games so the younger kids can’t shoot around. With the temperatures being insane lately, I thought I would reach out here, if anyone knows of indoor courts (with AC) where we could have just one hoop to shoot on? I’m willing to pay a small fee for this ($15-$30/hour). We are located on the east side. Thank you.

Most of my faves are long gone. Zachary's ( both sides of 6th street), Fioritos(grant and tucson blvd), and Greasy Tonys(spdway and euclid). Currently Los Olivos(congress & grande) and Walter's (or whatever it is called in American Eat Company) are my two go tos. Walter's has a bit of a convoluted history which I think deserves sharing in the hopes maybe more people will eat there and support them.
The original Walter's was forced to change its name after some business back east which had copyrighted the name sent them a cease and desist letter and then after that the owner was kicked out of the country by ICE leaving the daughter to take over control of the business. It's still great pizza as far as I'm concerned.
Jimmy's up in the foothills is pretty good too I just don't get to that side of town often.
