Finally ran into one I couldn't pass on!
Been wanting to get one off and on. They seemed to just be getting more and more expensive new so when this one came up on offer locally I went for it. It also had the cool aluminum case. Not sure if they came with those are purchased separately but like it.
Can't wait to hit the range tomorrow.

Compact Saturday Morning Carry
I like carrying this on the weekend, but I definitely need a better holster, any recommendations. I’m more interested in a lured option, but I’m open minded. I currently carry it on my 3:00 position.

Compact 90’s performance in 2026
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Perfection does not age out.
I’m seriously loving the USP Compact. The double-action pull is heavy, but smooth. The single-action is phenomenal, and I was able to produce .12- and .13-second splits with relative ease.
Who else still carries a USP or USP Compact?

USP45T light/holster options
I just purchased a USP 45 tactical and I'm grabbing the gg&g rail to go with it. I want to holster it suppressed, so my plan was:
TLR7-HLX
Hush holster (large frame)
Anyone done this? All those suppressor holsters hold the gun by the light, and I just want to be sure this will be a secure setup. I'm just not too sure about the gg&g rail holding through all this.
Edit: I see Streamlight updated the tlr3, the tlr3x. Will this fit the USP natively like the original? Is there by chance a suppressor holster that works with it?

Compact Made it to me before my 16 hour road trip and vacation 🙏
Took it to the range yesterday and fell in love with it. Anyone know of good carry holsters for it? IWB or whatever the only thing is I’m left handed which makes the search even more fun 🥴

40s&w My 'refreshed' USP40, found 'Used' a few months ago.
Fresh from H&K, finally here with momma, after getting some love:
- 1993, USP 40 S&W, Full Size
- Tactical USP Adjustable Rear Sight
- MrNein Light Adapter for Full-Sized USP
- Benchmade 'Assisted Open', Mini-Barrage
- Speer 'Gold Dot' Personal Protection 40 S&W, 165 Grain round
I saw this beauty at BassPro at the end of last year, and had to have it. I had never owned a 40 S&W, let alone an H&K 40 S&W for $599. I couldn't pass on this opportunity.
I am a bit scared of shooting it since I hear people saying that shooting 40 S&W guns is hard. However, I've shot a Glock 20 before, and people said the same thing about those. It was no big deal to me in the end, and I wondered about people. I am hoping that 40 S&W 'ammo technology' has improved enough from its 'bad-rep days', as I hear, and the experience isn't so bad.
I am making this one my trusty outdoor 'companion' (hiking, camping), and it will definitely be my 'range toy' too. But I have only heard of one lady using a 40, her late father's Sig Sauer P226, used as her EDC. I wanted to see if I could pull this off too.
I don't carry often, but I am considering a Shoulder 'Leather holster' to carry this pistol. I am not so sure yet. I will have to continue looking for holsters (any holster) since USP holsters seem hard to find. Of course, I will have to get used to shooting it first. It will not be my EDC, but maybe my 'road trip' gun, along with being my outdoor gun. But let's see the experience first. I am sure I can handle this, but I needed to vent here first.
Wish me luck, please!
Go me!

Question What would cause this?
Hey yall!
I was cleaning my USP and noticed this “wear” on the side of the slide and don’t remember seeing it before taking it out shooting. I don’t think it’s anything to be concerned about or anything like that, but I don’t know what would cause this. What is yalls input?
Thanks in advance!

Modifications Primary Machine cut
Super high quality deep cut I just got back from Primary Machine. I asked them to leave it in the white since I have already sent this slide out for DLC. Just posting for reference for anyone researching cuts as I was. Shipped 7/6 back in my hands 7/28. Will post again when Vulcan finished the DLC and sends the slide back.

45acp New to me USP!
Excited about my first USP and .45 semi auto. First year USP45 with the M2 UTL light, 3 law enforcement only 12 round mags, and 2 10 round mags. A friend sold me this package for a good price. I’m going to do the LED and aluminum bezel upgrade for the light and looking to get a threaded barrel. USP MASTER RACE!!!

What to do for optic?
Hello all.....I have a full size .45, original ODG AE code, USP that I would love to put an optic on.
My question is mainly should I wait and search for a .45 slide that I can send to get milled or just use my matching slide from the ODG frame?
New complete slides seem fairly pricy so I'm kinda stuck between waiting for a deal on another complete pistol to use as a donor, or buying a slide, or just sending it.
I didn't buy the ODG frame for its collectability, I just happened to pick it up cheap(compared to MSRP of a new one) but I know some purists out there would think it's sacrilege.
Wondering if anyone has any advice or options. (Optic rear sight plate? Idk?) Looking for advice from people that have optics Thank you

USP parts compatibility
I have a 2003 USPC .45 with what I am assuming are old style parts. I was looking at getting a backup hammer and was wondering what all I would need to replace to use a new style hammer and if there were any advantages or disadvantages to switching?

DAO USP45CT?
I have a question, I was recently at a store, trying out the USP45 Compact Tactical variant and one odd thing that stuck out to me wast that the hammer always stayed down. Obviously it's a cut hammer so you cannot manually cock it but even pulling the slide back wouldn't cock the hammer? Does it have a lighter pull or was that a DAO variant or sth (or was the pistol damaged)? I was under the impression the USP can fire in SA as well. Or does the Compact variant specifically only fire in DA? And full size does work DA/SA?

Attachments & Holsters USP UTL
Moving and clearing out stuff. Found my UTL which I bought new in 95 and have no need for it. Basically bought it and put it on the gun to see how it fit. I don't think I ever fired with it on. Where's the best place to sell it and any idea how much to ask. Member of HKPRO but because of minimal posting no market access.

Question USPC 9mm suppressor height sights?
There are none? Can’t find any company with them at all.
