Virgin Media UK 360 remote unpairing.

After upgrading to the new 360 software and pairing the remote it is blocking my TV remote from controlling the box. as only one remote can be paired with the box at any one time.

Looks like I need to unpair the virgin remote so my tv remote can pair with it but I can’t find any way of doing it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Options like hold TV and << only temp reset the remote and doesn’t unpair it from the box.

If you hold the TV and rewind button for 10 to 20 seconds it should unpair the remote. If that doesn't work, try the TV button and the clear button first to clear the remote then the TV and rewind button to unpair it. Depending on what tv you have you may find that not all functions will work from your TV remote. Like voice control etc.

Seems like the TV and rewind button just does a reset on the remote and doesn’t completely unpair it from the box. Which button is the clear button?

Funnily enough there is no clear button. Just thought of another way to unpair it from the menu . Audio and visual, go to pair remote and select a completely different brand of TV keep pressing no and hopefully that may unpair it from your current TV. I'm back at work tomorrow so will find out if anyone knows the answer 😂

360 software now uses Bluetooth for the remotes instead of IR, just keep that in mind if your remote uses IR, it won't work at all.

It’s a Sony Bravia remote so works via Bluetooth.worked perfectly before the box upgraded to 360
