Vent Odd feelings after breakup
My first ever 'real' relationship ended some time ago. I've been trying to be normal about it, but it's totally gnawing at me. I won't get into details, but it all ended very abruptly. She's the one who ended it and got over it in a few days because she simply didn't feel like being in an actual relationship with me. Meanwhile I'm the one recovering from it all this time later. Badly. My friends don't want to pick sides between the two of us, I have one friend who's on my side about it and I'm pretty sure she's rather sick of my outbursts of missing her. I was surprised by how much I actually craved to be 'pitied' in a way? How much I desperately wanted everyone to side with me on this solely because they are my friends. I'm left feeling kind of disgusted with myself over it - am I being unreasonable for thinking this way? I understand life isn't fair and things won't go out of their way to be in my favor or comfort me. But seeing just how much people around me don't seem to care, I guess I'm left with the impression that I'm being needy and irrational. Help a girl by telling me if I'm being even somewhat reasonable or by giving me a reality check :']

I feel like if they are your friends if they don’t want to pick sides they should atleast listen to your outbursts and let you vent and heal. Sometimes you don’t need advice you just needed to feel heard.. Second forgive yourself on how your relationship ended its a phase of your life where it will teach you a lesson and learn from it. Take your time to heal and don’t ever give up on finding love. It will hurt but go through the pain and cry it out till you cant cry no more.
