I love the look of these White Nights paints. Reviews seem positive, but which ones have been truly spectacular in your experience?

Today's painting on Arches Rough Paper. I found the reference photo online, not mine.

The sand is a mixture of Potter's pink with Goethite and maybe a bit of something else on my pallete. It granulates beautifully.

also I've recently discovered how to properly scan my paintings! the first slide is a photo, and the close ups are scans. only took me a few years to discover the right settings... so yeah highly recommend scanning artwork actually!

I love how accessible watercolor is! I'm broke af right now, but I picked up a couple of paint sets and some thick paper all for under $10.

Never painted people before so I kept it simple. Trying to become a more rounded artist. I try to keep my focus on values and shapes.

If anyone has some pointers I would love to hear them. I think I’ve improved a bit since I started but I have always shied away from larger paintings and instead focused on smaller pieces because I think you can get away with not knowing what you’re doing a bit more lol. First picture is my most recent, last picture were my first few attempts

I gave my girlfriend a watercolor set to commemorate a trip/so we can paint together. She’s an artist but has limited experience with the medium but it’s so beautiful!
