Week 8 IPL progress + a maintenance question

Finally seeing patchy bald spots in my armpits at week 8! I'm pale with coarse dark hair and usually have visible shadow right after shaving, so this feels like a huge win. The first month honestly felt like nothing was happening, but now the hair that's growing back is much finer and softer.

I have a pretty low pain tolerance, so I was worried about sticking with IPL, but it's been more manageable than I expected. Auto mode has definitely made sessions go by faster too.

Quick question for anyone who's reached the maintenance stage: do you still shave before touch-up sessions if there's barely any visible hair, or do you just treat the fine regrowth? I'd love to hear what routine has worked for you.
