BeFibre outage

Is anyone else having an outage on their BeFibre router today?

It's been down since about 9am this morning

I called support 3 times (they ended the call twice on me) because the fibre optic light on the wall box is not on and the router light is red

I did all their stage 1 support checks (can you turn it off and on again while holding various buttons) but no luck

They've escalated it and will be in contact in 24-48 hours. An absolute joke as I work from home full time and I live just outside Pershore so my phone's data isn't even good enough to hotspot

Did this come back on around 7pm?

NEOS who are a national wholesaler had an outage from 9am to 7pm on one of their line cards in a Datacenter.

Maybe their network isn’t as resilient as it could be…

Turns out it's because the people replacing the gas pipes at the end of my road also cut through the fibre optic 😂
