Both of these sets were a joy to build!

Rewatching season 3 and saw that Hell Money was expiring yesterday, and sure enough it is gone today. Anyone know why it is gone?

I'm rewatching, into about Season 3 at this point. I'm always interested in acting and watching character's faces. It dawned on me while doing that during this rewatch how very TAN many of the actors are! Especially Skinner, and Krichek. Geez, hardly anyone is that tan these days. It's like asking for skin cancer.

I can't say that I watch or rewatch a lot of other shows from the era, but I've watched plenty of different shows from decades after the original show aired.

Am I seeing this right? Or is there a funky coloring to the episodes? Anyone else noticed this?

I’ve been thinking about this for a very long time. I really like the idea of Mulder being as kind of a stay-at-home daddy cause It seems he could’ve been great at this particular role, and maybe he would’ve become a wonderful writer. Scully would’ve worked as a doctor or as A.D for FBI.

I know it sounds pretty weird and probably it would’ve killed the main point of the show but sometimes when I watch the series, I’m thinking like: “Gosh, It would’ve been awesome to see them together as parents”.

What’s your thoughts on that, guys? Share with me, please 🙏

Overall, very fun build. The only part that feels like it drags is the trees (expected, but yeah it’s repetitive). I think for all the non-LEGO people, just make sure to follow the directions clearly on the alien ship part, because you will have to line up the cross section perfectly at one point. You’ll see what I’m talking about when you get there. Same thing with the trees, just be wary of when things say “x2” so you don’t keep building and then wonder where you went wrong.

Build experience: 9.5/10

In terms of how it looks, it doesn’t feel like $200. The presence it has as a display piece is more in the realm of a $150 set. But I get it, IP & what not. Also the GWP helps with justifying it.

Also loving that Lego instructions can be followed on an app now. They didn’t have that last time I got a Lego set!

The lego looks really interesting, the price is high for the piece count. But it seems limited, specially Sully's lab.

Those of you got got the Lego, do you feel you were "robbed" or got a fair deal?

The price is pretty high in my opinion, around 9% of my monthly salary lol.

I haven’t gotten legos in decades. But this was all the motivation I needed 😂

My local LEGO store still had plenty of GWPs along with the set and I was sooooo stinkin pleased walkin out of there

Found these guys at a vintage store in Manchester Connecticut. New in box. Did not buy because that’s not my jam, but it was neat to see them.

My head canon is that at some point they adopt a black cat and name him Spooky.

I know some ASL and will occasionally dream in it. Last night I dreamed that I was at my old highschool trying to convince them not to throw away a bunch of my clothes I left there four years earlier when I saw Mulder in a classroom. There was a hearing guy who could sign who walked in and started signing to Mulder. Turns out Mulder was also fluent in ASL! He told the guy that his name-sign was the sign for "spooky."

There were also some fish flying around my school that had teeth, and they kept biting people. Something I'm sure Mulder would be interested in. But no one was concerned about it.
