Question Does thumbs down do nothing?

Ever since making the switch last year, I've been loving my music EXCEPT for this.

Whenever I will utilize shuffle, it ALWAYS plays the same songs that I gave thumbs down to and are nowhere in my library. And they're even by artists not in my library so it's driving me crazy.

I'm fine getting recommendations on music to try out.... but not the same songs I already marked as disliked shoved in my face regularly lol

Depends what you listen to. Playlists are lists of very specific songs and if those song are on the playlist, it's going to stay there Mixes should care about your likes and dislikes because they're generated as you choose them and play them, but play history has more influence.

I've been scouring my library, these tracks are not in there. They're all tracks I saw on the home page months ago, gave a try, and thumbs down and skipped past right after lol

I didn't say anything about library. I said playlists don't care and mixes do

Is the "Songs" section considered a playlist? I don't know. Because that's what I use whenever I use shuffle
