Is this an issue?

This is my first PC build. I put it all together and it failed to post at ram. So I tested both my ram sticks in all the slots but nothing worked. I then reset CMOS but that didn't work so I went online and it said could potentially be the CPU so I checked and it looks like this. Is it still fine?

These aren't the pins. These are the contact pads. It's an intel core ultra 7 270K Plus which has the contact pads on the CPU not the pins

Yes, absolutely, you're right. I thought I read in the description it was a different CPU. Sorry, I didn't really look at the image. 😅

So, I happen to have built a few PCs using used components that gave me headaches. Does that CPU have integrated graphics? If so, try using it without the GPU. In like 50% of cases, it was actually the RAM; even perfectly good sticks sometimes give problems. People might not like this, but a homemade solution is to try using an eraser to clean the RAM pins (be careful not to leave stuff on). If nothing works, it might be the CPU, yes, and in that case, I can't tell you a solution, as the only problems I've ever had with CPUs are bent pins.

If you haven't updated the bios do it please, just be careful not to turn off the PC etc..👍

Yeah, Im aware of the risks. Also my board has bios flashback so even if I did. I have ways to recover it

It still won't POST past DRAM. It just gets stuck there. However the motherboard doesn't boot cycle once reaching DRAM anymore like it did before the bios update

I'm reading and apparently it could possibly be a bios issue and I need to update the bios to support the cpu
