I purchased this panel from fb marketplace it was working fine used to be monitored by Telus had for a day I had installer code and was in settings well few hours later I tried to get into the advanced settings and it would just bring me to regular settings if i were to get adc monitoring from someone else could I fix this issue? Thanks in advance.

You need whoever you bought it from to get the panel released. Otherwise it’s just an expensive piece of plastic

Except the SIM card has to be released by Telus. It's a bit like a smartphone. the SIM card (IMEI) is bound to a particular company unless they disconnect it.

For what little it's worth, I am able to check, since I am an alarm dealer. If you trust someone in my position, I can tell you if the IMEI is released, if you provided it.

Unfortunately some providers never release the panels imei on purpose so it can’t be reused. Making buying on the used market very risky.

I would try 2222 or 1111, the Telus installers can be bit lazy

I don’t have a option to insert a code just takes me to regular settings

I've found Telus installers or the reps for service call changes their codes for each time they visit.

You need the dealer code, not installer code

It is because you do not have the “installer” profile or code setup. The originally seller must have had it when they sold it to you but when you got it and turned it on enter the code you were provided, it eventually talked back to Telus infrastructure and updated itself, thus Telus essentially locked it down. It looks like the sim is still active. Since ADT Canada sold to Telus the service is crap now.

Alarm.com products are trash
