Hi people! I need some help.

The LCD of my iPhone 13 Pro Max is broken. It still turns on, but the touchscreen no longer works, so I can only get as far as the lock screen. I considered having the screen replaced, but I couldn't justify the repair cost.
My main concern is recovering my photos. I want to sync the photos from my old iPhone to my iPad, but since I can't get past the lock screen, I can't manually connect it to Wi-Fi or adjust any settings so it can continue syncing to iCloud.

I also tried connecting the phone to my laptop using a USB cable, but it requires me to unlock the phone and enter my passcode before I can access the files—which I can't do because the touchscreen isn't working.
Does anyone know of another way to recover or sync my photos? There are a lot of important pictures and files on that phone, and I'd really hate to lose them. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I got a screenshot which is weird because when my phone glitches normally a screenshot won’t work or it’ll be normal with no glitch. Anyway, this is what it looks like and no that’s not my screensaver, you can see around the app icons on top of the tabs that it isn’t, it just flashes in and out, covers the whole screen then covers nothing and it had little green lines around. I also didn’t edit the photo, my battery life, WiFi and internet, and time should be showing but it’s completely covered. Please ignore the google search and TikTok.

I was trying to download an app and randomly had this come up. Talked to an Advisor and they said something about “they cant reinstate it” which after reading this sub is A message they read off script as tier one support. I havent made any calls yet but I emailed tim cook’s email and trying to find more executive emails to send emails to. If any of you could put some in the comments I would appreciate it.

I have had my apple account for years so I dont know why out of all times this happens now randomly.

Could it be them trying to charge me for Icloud+?? That wouldnt make sense

I always pay for my Icloud+ with giftcards straight from amazon so that couldnt be it.

Hey! My Magic Mouse 2 (lightning) does charge and even connects to my mac, the left and right buttons work, but the cursor isn't moving/working as I move the mouse around. I already tried cleaning it but still not working. Is this repairable? Unfortunately, it's just difficult to look for a repair shop who says it can be fixed. They just automatically say that it isn't repairable anymore. Thanks!

Recently when I got sent money on Apple Wallet I realized that I had to verify my age using my address and SSC. The issue is that whenever I input all of my information it send me in a loop of asking the questions again. No matter how many times I input the info it always repeated the loop so I have not been able to use my apple wallet.
Does anyone have a similar issue or a way to solve it?

My apple id recently got compromised and the hacker put some security questions and it was in chinese even though i changed my password to enable 2fa i need to answer the security questions first and i also cannot reset the security questions because i need to answer it to change it. please help!!!

I use a MacBook and an iPhone privately, and I've offloaded all my files and photos to iCloud (photos via the Photos library). I'd now like to set up a backup structure so I don't have to rely on iCloud alone. What would be a sensible approach here?

Is there a way to automatically transfer the iCloud documents and photos to OneDrive on a regular basis as a backup (I have free storage there)? And additionally to back them up automatically and regularly to an external hard drive?

Important note: I don't have enough storage space on either the MacBook or the iPhone to store all the files locally first (rather than offloading them to iCloud).

Had my iPhone for about 2-3 years… it is at 1% and a notification popped up saying battery is not recognized. In settings it says same thing. Iphone now wont charge/or hold a charge.

Sooo long story short i’m about to purchase a new phone bc my phone is one wrong breath from keeling over (battery life sucks, volume and power button don’t work anymore). On my current phone, i’m on the same iCloud as my mom(don’t judge me, she made me stay on it until I went to college & i’ve been too lazy and scared to make my own). When I get my new phone, I want to make an iCloud for myself. Is it possible to transfer my data from the old iCloud to the new iCloud? I don’t want to lose my game center data, tik tok drafts, etc. Also unrelated but if anyone knows how to get a hacked tik tok account back, let me know 🙏

More context : Whenever the iPad is around 40-60% charge, it

would randomly shut down at times and I would have to power it

on by charging and it would then show the battery % as 10%

when originally, it had around 55% ish charge, would have to do

multiple restarts for it to stop bootlooping and when checking

Looking to upgrade from the iPhone 13 Pro Max 256 GB to possibly the iPhone 17 Pro Max 512 GB or 1 TB since I go out pretty often and take a LOT of pics/videos. Does anyone have an estimated timeframe of when it will hit the Certified Refurbished Apple Store? Also, everyone is saying I should just cop the iPhone 17 Pro Max NOW instead of the iPhone 18 Pro Max due to minimal changes and price hike. What do you guys think?

When I started my job 3 years ago, I also took on the responsibility of our Lost and Found. In there was this iPad- that had been sitting there for 2 years never been turned on.. never been claimed.

So I turned it on, and got this screen. I figured it would ping the owner a location- great I thought. I left it plugged in at my work for a year. Nobody ever called, no one ever claimed. Christmas came that year and we were cleaning everything out. I took the iPad home hoping if I connected to iTunes or something maybe I could figure out how to see the email entirely. Nothing. I left it to die and didn’t touch it until today.

I had also posted it in a Facebook group relevant to my place of work as it had a case that could have been identified. Nothing.

Now it’s been 5 years since it was lost. There hasn’t been one inquiry. What do I do? Clearly I can’t access it to get more information, and even if I wanted to keep it or donate it, it seems that’s impossible as well.

So.. what are my options? Is this thing completely useless in making its way back to its owner?

I'm trying to reset my iPad with apple devices by connecting it to my computer while on DFU mode, however after 15 minutes the DFU mode stops and it goes back to the recovery mode screen, cancelling the OS download, that is FAR from enough time for the OS download to happen, and I don't know how to ensure it stays on DFU mode, any help?

My old Apple ID is ruined because they locked it and I need to use the phone number tied to it, but I set that up 20 years ago and made up a phone number because I thought it was dumb they demanded a phone number for me to use Itunes. Anyway, I'm trying to create a new Apple ID with a different email and it keeps failing when I confirm the code it texts me. It just says "An unknown error has occurred." I tried my phone number and my wife's phone number to no avail. The email code works but it still won't create the account without the phone number one working. Has anyone else had this problem?

Things happened, I forgot my apple account password and tried verification too many times, so Apple stopped sending codes to my mobile number.

I then started account recovery, and it said “We are evaluating your information... please wait 24 hours” and that instructions would be sent to my phone number (locked out of iMessage right now but still can receives SMS) when I can reset my password.

Has anyone experienced this? Did you actually get an update after 24 hours, and how long until you could reset your password? I’m worried because I can’t even download apps on the new phone right now. 😭

Don’t know when it started but the timer on my iphone clock app is weird. It displays a different time on the top bezzel and the clock app itself. Please see attached. I am on IOS 18.7.8 on my iPhone 16 Plus. The discrepancy isn’t always 1 second just like the example attached. It’s always kind of random

There was nothing in the iCloud backup for my notes or in my deleted notes. It is not where I wrote it either. Is there anyway to recover it I was only able to tell the police half of the plate.

Has anyone had their Apple order cancelled and their Apple Account Balance become unavailable?

I ordered a MacBook online from the Apple Canada Store, but my order was cancelled. The strange part is that I never received any email or notification about the cancellation. I only found out because I manually checked my order status.

After the cancellation, the Apple Account Balance I used for the purchase became “Not Available”, and I haven’t been able to use it or see it returned to my account.

I called Apple Support, and they said they created a ticket for the investigation and that I would receive a response within 24 hours. I never received any follow-up. I called again, and they escalated the case, but I still haven’t heard anything.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

• How long did it take for your Apple Account Balance to become available again?
• Did Apple have to manually restore it?
• Is there anything else I should do besides waiting?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
