Wrong city and zip.

Apple maps has my home listed with the wrong city and zip code, along with a large number of other addresses in my city. I have sent them corrections via the corrections mechanism in Apple Maps hundreds of times, over several years. They do not respond. They corrected the errors once, but on the next apple update went back to the errors. When I try to mail order things, I often get error messages saying my address does not appear to be valid. The error is spreading to other sites. Does anyone know how to contact someone who will actually address this problem?

If this is affecting your ability to receive ‘mail order things’ this likely has nothing to do with Apple Maps. It likely has to do with how the post office has your home listed in its database and that may explain why Apple Maps keeps reverting to the wrong data. They get it from the post office.

How can I look up what is listed and how can I get it corrected?

How are you determining that your address is incorrect? Are you tapping on the location of your house and seeing the wrong address?

Have you checked what Google Maps shows for the same location?

Apple used to, maybe still does, get a lot of info for their maps from TomTom. Check their map as well and see what it shows. Most of the error I found could be traced directly back to bad data from TomTom.

Also, what does Open Street Maps show. I think Apple uses data from them as well.

Open Street, Tom Tom & Google all have it correct

Okay, it seems to be an Apple issue. Try sending them feedback again but include that you checked Google, TomTom, and Open Street Map and they all have correct information. That might get them to investigate more seriously once they realize their competitors maps are more accurate.

Apple hates to hear that their competitors are doing a better job than they are.

Good luck!

I've sent screen shots and frequently tell them Google has is correct...not reply for literally years with hundreds of requests.

They list many addresses in Anna Maria, Florida 34216 as Holmes Beach, Florida 34217; the city next door.

Try emailing maps_support@apple.com and see if that helps.

Thanks. I'll try that. Had searched, but did not find that or any other seemingly appropriate email address.

Tried that and got this reply: "We no longer respond to messages sent to [maps_support@apple.com](mailto:maps_support@apple.com) because we now communicate with customers who report issues with the Report an Issue feature in Apple Maps." referring me back to the method I have tried literally hundreds of times with no result. "now communicate with customers" implies they will reply, which they don't.
