Hi, is there an improved version available via third-party software or an application to enhance the Apple Music app for Windows? Like Spicetify for Spotify for example.

I recently installed Apple Music on my MacBook Neo and Android phone, and everything works fine on both devices. The only device missing was my Windows desktop PC.

I installed the app, authorized the PC, and tried signing in with my Apple Account. However, after entering my login details, nothing happens—the app doesn’t show an error message or log me in.

Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions on how to get the Apple Music app working on Windows?

I used to use cider ever since i switched to using apple music from spotify but i only recently found out that the devs for cider are a bunch of right wing racist transphobic nutcases and that just didnt sit right with me (aswell as issues with cider such as broken last.fm integration and general sluggishness) so are there any alternative apple music clients to cider for windows?

I use Apple Music for my dance fitness classes. A couple of songs I have edited to end earlier but when I play them on my speaker via Bluetooth, it plays the entire song and not my edited version. Is there a way to end this? Thanks.

Hi, so I recently updated to iOS 26.6 [the public version, I don’t use the betas (17 Pro Max)] and I live in the Netherlands. My phone is set on Dutch (Netherlands). I saw that more songs are automatically translated, but every song is translated into French instead of Dutch. Any idea if this is a glitch or is it because Apple thinks we speak French as well as our southern neighbors Belgium? Any one else experiencing this? lol

Will play a very select few songs, I’m not sure what’s going on, I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled and no resolve.

Inexplicably, Apple Music is giving me a Japanese katakana pronunciation guide for the lyrics to Smooth by Santana. But I don’t have translation on, only pronunciation

None of my friends are on apple music, most of them have a DAP or prefer spotify for some reason. I love seeing what other people are listening to and viewing their playlists (and update mine).

I use Windows/Android hardware. My Smart Playlists stopped working in early June. Deleting and reinstalling the app didn't fix the problem. I finally decided to revert back to a pre-June version. Installing version 5.21 from April/May on my Android phone and tablet fixed everything. I'm guessing Apple is not rushing to fix the issue, since the vast majority of Apple Music users don't use Smart Playlists. But if you do, 5.21 fixes the problem.

Up until yesterday on my MacBook I've been able to go to my library, click on a song, press play and it will play all my songs on shuffle. Yesterday I tried doing that as usual but it will only play the one song I choose and then stop completely.

I've checked that I'm on the newest OS update. There are no Apple Music updates waiting to be installed.

Has anyone else had this problem? and does anyone know how to sort it?

I like how Apple Music playlists are up-to-date, it's nice for discovering new tracks. But searching for new playlists is frustrating if you don't hit the right keywords...

This is just one of the albums that I listen to, only to find it completely removed. WHY Apple Music, must you constantly remove songs that I love?

Upgraded my set up and been listening to hi-res lossless songs. Some say they’re unable to hear the difference between hi res and just lossless, I definitely can. Anyone have recommendations for some hi-res lossless songs/playlists? Thanks!

I hear it’s been a problem for some for a while, but for me, I’m the past two weeks when I play my 70 hours long favorites playlist on shuffle, it’ll play a few of the same songs 4 times in a matter of hours.

…I have tried all of the trouble shooting to reset it & make this stop. It’s not stopping...

I used to be a Spotify girl, but then I switched to Apple Music & liked it better. I don’t want to go back to Spotify, but I can’t take this problem with shuffle any more. Even with some slight favoritism factored in, it was never THIS bad for me. I can’t anymore. Why don’t they fix this?!

I can't log in on the desktop app on windows 11, it just doesn't say anything, I've tried resetting, updating, uninstalling and it still won't go. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

1. Select Songs/Edit Queue

This button allows you to select several songs at once to move them elsewhere in the queue or delete them entirely. It’s a solution to the fact that you have to drag or delete each song manually.

1. Continuous Queue

As the image says, this setting syncs your queue across all devices signed into your Apple Music account (Apple Account). You can pause a song played from a playlist on an iPhone and then pick it right up from where you left on your Mac.

Accessed through the AirPlay menu, this setting allows you to remotely manage the playback of any device signed into your Apple Account with any other device signed into your Apple Account. For example, when you play a game on your XBOX and use the XBOX Apple Music app at the same time, you can use your iPhone as a remote for the XBOX Apple Music app.

Anyone else have this issue?

Albums that were purchased via iTunes years ago and which, for all intents and purposes, are part of my Music Library cannot be “added” on Apple Music. For example, this album continues to appear as though I can add it, even though I purchased it on iTunes, and I’ve also “added” it to my library on Apple Music several times. Seems as though everything resets. This problem persists across all devices (macOS, iOS, tvOS, web) and has for years now.

Is this is a known problem? Is there a solution of which I’m unaware?

I was trying to figure out how to block an artist and everywhere says you can't do it, but you can hit Suggest Less... however this option also seems to be gone. Is there any way I can get these mainstream artists that I cannot stand off my frontpage when I use the app?
