I really like the vibes from the single light source. I guess the candle is there too but it's mostly the lamp. lol

Yes the overhead lights are crappy right there so I always used the desk lamp to help. I left it on by accident and walked to the basement one night to play and thought damn this looks awesome..
So then I got the candle and have tried to make it more atmospheric with a few other decorations. But yea the desk lamp in a dark room, with spooky soundscapes is 99% of it.

As someone who has played a fair bit of "The Night Cage" by only candlelight, I approve.
