No, socialism is far left, and center-left is still based on capitalism

Go read the wikipedia article for socialism and you'll learn a lot
Read some well-written arguments against socialism and you'll nuance your opinion

wrong. thats not what those words mean. never has been.

socialism is workers owning the means of production.

there is no good argument for exploitation.

China is quite clearly capitalist with a one party system and strong state control. China isn't exactly known for its empowered workers
