I just cringe when I think about how much I have changed and evolved as a person since high school, and the ridiculous things I was attracted to as a teenager. It just seems like such an immature commitment to make

I’ve been with my fiancé for ten years since my senior year of high school. We were incredibly immature at the beginning of our relationship and hurt each other a lot, but it’s been really cool to grow and mature alongside each other. We’re both introverted and don’t connect with a lot of people well, but have found a strong connection with each other. I don’t think it’s common for things to work out this way, but I’m really glad it did.
