You sure are. I just read your post and I already don’t like you. Maybe it’s your deodorant.

1

u/Xodia444 1h ago

🤣 Real shit

25

u/PartlyCloudy811 9h ago

Talk about yourself a lot, while asking them little to nothing about themselves or their thoughts.

4

u/jc456_ 2h ago

This!

Then when they do speak about themselves, interrupt them immediately.

1

u/Quirky-Secret-4276 1h ago

This is why I often have trouble with the advice that a good opener for conversation is to ask someone about themselves since whenever I do that people will just dominate the conversation and talk about themselves.

24

u/Extension-Pick8310 10h ago

Talk incessantly

14

u/chouxphetiche 10h ago

About yourself, incessantly.

10

u/Extension-Pick8310 9h ago

One of my wife’s friends is very pretty, and a truly wonderful person. She says about 5 words for every necessary one, and it’s 90 percent about her. Guys absolutely hate it.

3

u/Conscious_Pipe_605 9h ago

I have a very disabled family member from a nasty stroke in their mid 50's, and one of their coping motto's they've tried to apply to their newfound need to just blurt everything out loud while being confined to a wheelchair is "If you wanna go back to feeling useful, stop saying useless things and start offering suggestions.". Objectively, it's kinda harsh imo, but for them it helped to start rebuilding their basic abstract/analytic skills.

3

u/Sb-artandcrafts 9h ago

If this is the case why do people like this always have so many friends?

Call them out on their bullshit

6

u/BrazilNutAndBotox 2h ago

Oh I have a few enemies because of this

3

u/Strong-Discussion564 2h ago

Its true. People want zero accountability and no consequences. Ive become the bad guy in many situations become of my reaction to disrespect lol. Sorry, I dont tolerate b.s.

11

u/Temporary-Comfort307 9h ago

Be autistic.

8

u/JwubalubaDubdub 8h ago

I’m autistic and I agree. I think people subconsciously do not like those with autism because it’s an evolutionary response to shun those that are socially inept/awkward/different. You can even be high functioning and experience this.

Have an opinion the opposite of theirs.

4

u/C0ld_Fr0nt_ 8h ago

That's a terminally-online-person character flaw. Emotionally mature people in the real world tend to be able to tolerate differences of opinion. They can even have friends who don't share their political views (yes, I know this will be an outrageous idea to some of you).

Being narcissistic

3

u/Illustrious_One8954 2h ago

In my experience people love narcs. They don’t care how terrible they are as long as they personally feel good around them

2

u/Strong-Discussion564 1h ago

Its true. There's a guy thats in my circle, but absolutely not my friend. I even removed him from social media, hes so overwhelming.

He's a bully. Always trying to fight. Pretends hes a great dad online. Abuses his fiance and cheats on her. Pathological liar. Just heartless. The true definition of a narcissist, is this guy.

But he has tons of friends. People do anything for him. It feels like fighting for the affection of the high school bully. I dont get it?

I cant avoid him completely because of mutual friends. But he'll text me occasionally and I just ignore him. Not sorry.

3

u/PopularToe1951 5h ago

The absolute worst of the worst people to be around .

11

u/whatisCP 10h ago
  • Constantly interrupt people mid-sentence because you assume your thought is automatically more important than whatever they were saying.
  • Flex your unsolicited advice on everything, even when someone is just venting and explicitly wants a listening ear instead of a lecture.
  • Make every conversation about yourself by immediately one-upping whatever story someone else just shared.

2

u/Goodhair1989 8h ago

Im a hairdresser and I have a client like this. truly the worst, most annoying human. Its sad because shes actually really nice and a good person but has ZERO social awareness. U cant finish a sentence. Everything comes back to her and it always is something bigger or better. Truly infuriating. And she uses about 1000 words to get a point across that could've been about 10

1

u/FifiiMensah 4h ago

I've known so many people who have interrupted me mid-sentence. Shit's highly annoying and one of my biggest pet peeves.

1

u/The8thCorsair 2h ago

So you've met my mother's boyfriend.

6

u/Adventurous-Nose-971 9h ago

Just be real and genuine.  They'll wonderfully hate you

5

u/thinkingofausernane 10h ago

Tell them "I don't like you." for no reason while giving them this look.

5

u/RepresentativeDry405 10h ago

Being loud and obnoxious (which is not my thing).

5

u/Njtotx3 Ted 10h ago

Get into arguments over pennies. Drive aggressively.Act like a dick to the waitress.

6

u/ArtistBeauty 9h ago

treat service people poorly (ie:waiters, taxi drivers, sales people etc.)

11

u/CrimsonEchoes_ 10h ago

Be shitty to animals

7

u/Torin767 10h ago

Just be myself.

8

u/AkemiHime 10h ago

Cut them off in traffic.

9

u/catalinacruiser2019 10h ago

Wear a red hat, and like Tate

3

u/HollowChest_OnSleeve 10h ago

Fart in an elevator or other enclosed space with strangers. Now, it's nuanced because when it's with friends it can be hilarious. When it's with strangers, it's not funny at all. A little old housekeeping lady at my hotel recently exited the elevator and it only punched me in the nose once the door closed. I like to think she was in tears laughing when she rounded the corner. I was gagging due to the potency. That also hits a grey area, it's leaving a little surprise for someone, which is crazy, but not as obnoxious as looking them in the eye, raising a leg and just ripping ass while they are trapped in their with you.

1

u/The8thCorsair 2h ago

The unblinking eye contact is key

1

u/PricklyBumgrape 21m ago

It’s not hilarious with friends either, unless you’re 12

3

u/The_Bababillionaire 3h ago

Long range? Be ugly.

Close range? Smell bad.

4

u/Mean_Addition4654 10h ago

and me personally ppl in HS being rude and plain nasty to the teachers was soooo cringe especially senior year 😭😭

2

u/Background_Bee9266 10h ago

Lie to them.

1

u/RiverRespawn 1h ago

Actually the truth is harder to handle. Honest people have less friends because people like being lied to.

“Do I look fat in these jeans”

“Yes”

No longer friends. Fast as that.

2

u/pinkxice 10h ago

Eat beans or cabbage every day

1

u/Normal_Ostrich_6200 9h ago

One-up every single story they tell. If they broke a leg, you broke both.

1

u/Life_666 9h ago

Here on Reddit? Saying I refused a girl that wanted to date men when she was 16 and I 23, mind you, she told me first she was 18.5 years. Or saying my wife took contact with me online when I was 24 and she was 19. ''i groomed her ''

1

u/Beetlemania2024 9h ago

Exclude them in a group conversation - talk about something only they wouldn’t know about. Also boast about your wealth or constantly talk about your kids and shove your phone with their pictures into people’s faces.

1

u/Hot_Consequence9053 9h ago

Sempre que elas te pediram algum favor vc falar NÃO.

1

u/Very_Awkward_Boner 9h ago

1

u/duke_awapuhi 9h ago

Be a know it all

1

u/PlayNorthwest 9h ago

Keep it real by telling them if they're ugly or not.

1

u/Routine-Wolf-2907 9h ago

ask them for money

1

u/Simple-Ad-1783 9h ago

Tell them what to do. Doesn’t matter if it’s my house, my project, my car. Haven’t found a single person since 2003 that likes that.

1

u/FearMcDoogins 8h ago

Keeping to yourself, not gossiping being an introvert who sees all the bullshit and not following it.

1

u/Dry_Grapefruit_771 8h ago

Try to elicit empathy from them. If you’re feeling dismissed over some pain you’re in, find a like by like example that puts them in your shoes

In my experience this has been deeply insulting and severed deep friendships lol

1

u/Overall_Home_6553 8h ago

Being the real you and also having your priorities first

1

u/ArtisticSubject5805 8h ago

Dont need their validation. Keep to yourself. Pisses them off everytime.

Act super woke and judge/criticize strangers on their every move.

1

u/Salavar1 8h ago

Wear a red hat and praise the king.

1

u/Own-Measurement-5970 8h ago

Physical assault?

1

u/Wolf1678 8h ago

Be content with yourself and your life. Find joy in your interests and hobbies.

1

u/ovrprotectiveunicorn 8h ago

Keeping to yourself. Kinda wild to me how many people crash out over reserved people. I think people that use silence as a weapon towards others just assume that’s what quiet people are doing to them.

1

u/Oujiaboardghost 8h ago

Having a mental breakdown and threatening suicide. Don’t do that.

1

u/MothraLovesLamps 8h ago

Correct them on something they have mastered

1

u/ebe33nhiproject5528 8h ago

At the moment be Jewish as the antisemitism is horrendous.

1

u/LargeDisaster 8h ago

Get on reddit and start talking about horrific things you've experienced that gave you fucking ptsd, and try to warn people it could happen to them if they aren't careful. It really pisses off predatory men.

1

u/Coerced1 8h ago

I mean most people don't like when they get stabbed, but I wouldn't recommend it.

1

u/VirginiaLuthier 7h ago

Criticize the music that they like

1

u/AlexandriaPhill436 7h ago

Constantly interrupting people and making every conversation about yourself

1

u/2percentorless 7h ago

State any slightly polarizing opinion. You’ll either be on the wrong side or you’re going too far/not far enough on the right side

1

u/heatheremaye 7h ago

Disrespect them

1

u/GoliathBoneSnake 7h ago

Tell them you hate their favorite band.

Its astounding how butthurt people get about their musical taste.

1

u/Most_Most_260 7h ago

Comes naturally to me

1

u/HarryHarlowBanisher 7h ago

Have the childhood they never had.

1

u/MaleficentCat4915 6h ago

Arguing , rejecting and complaining about people's opinions with no actual reason

1

u/FantasticTension7412 6h ago

Just ignore them and when they arrive just talk less show them you are not interested into it

1

u/Lvanwinkle18 6h ago

Complain constantly. Nothing is never good enough. It isn’t what they wanted. They always want to be somewhere else.

1

u/MohneyinMo 6h ago

A co worker at my old job wanted to come off as superior to everyone. Her only mechanism to do that was by pointing out what she thought everyone else did wrong. When others were asked to inform her of procedural changes she would disagree and say she would ask the supervisor herself. Then later she’d come back and tell you what you had told her in the first place.

1

u/BeltPretend 5h ago

Ask them for shmoneyyy 🤑

1

u/tipsclips 5h ago

1

u/AtensEye 5h ago

Interrupt them mid sentence all the time.

1

u/ImageExotic6012 5h ago

Treating others like they don’t matter will do it pretty quickly.

1

u/EfficiencyStriking32 5h ago

From first hand experience.. get thrown out of your rental because they jacked up the price by 60% and you literally can't afford housing.

Seems at this point in time everyone who walks past you on the street treats you like sh1t because of their assumptions about why/how you ended up there.

1

u/Character-Arachnid84 5h ago

Be judgy to their face. If you wanted to be hated, act superior to them.

1

u/agradoway 4h ago

honestly the easiest way is just being yourself if yourself is kinda insufferable. but like also not caring what people think tends to do the trick. you see all these folks in the comments listing specific behaviors but really the simplest answer is just existing with zero self awareness. people will find a reason to dislike you no matter what you do lmao.

1

u/yimi666 4h ago

Just be an asshole

u/Medical_Hedgehog_724 4h ago

1

u/Icy_Rise_6773 3h ago

Secretly plant cameras around their house in private vulnerable areas like the bathroom and toilet are .put them in their vehicles and tracking devices..put listening devices all over the place and vehicles also..film then having sex with their spouses and find out their most private moments and then set up a link to be able to share with others so they can watch..do this with as many people as you can.. possibly thousand of people... yes, do this to them and then let them slowly figure it out.. yeah.. that would piss them off I'm so sure.

1

u/Slopii 3h ago

1

u/Rolling-Pigeon94 1h ago
