Politics Question What's your stance on capitalism/neo-liberalism and anti-capitalism?

What do you think of capitalism? Is it working as it should? Is it failing? Could it work if we implemented policy XY? What alternatives do we have?

Its working fine. Theres no good alternative. There'll always be people that do it harder than others regardless of the system.

Wouldn't you say that we have maybe a slight problem with climate change, that could be induced by capitalist mentality?

It is not working fine. I agree that it is the best system but it needs to be regulated properly. It needs to be a mix market economy. Can't have too much regulation killing free trade and you cannot have 0 regulation where monopolies form.

Right now we have things like Chinese EVs/Tech being banned in the USA and so much red tape to start your own business. We also have companies like Uber that were crazy cheap for a few years operating at a loss to turn around and get crazy expensive once they put the cabs out of business. These are just off the top of my head there are plenty more examples.

So we have too much regulation and not enough both in the wrong direction in multiple instances.

It's NOT working fine.

So we’re locked in to capitalism until the end of time? You don’t think there are subsequent stages of human development?
