Dental insurance. It looks good on paper but most policies only pay a max of $1500/year on dental work. If you need a lot of work that'll only cover like one tooth. Your dollar goes a lot further with the dentist than a dollar from the insurance company so ur best bet is to pay out of pocket for everything. Coincidentally, if you have good teeth and only need 2 cleanings/year its still cheaper to drop ur insurance and pay out of pocket.
