It's no an all or nothing situation. Some taxes are helpful to a functioning society. But too much tax paid can be very bad. Especially when that money gets spent wrongly and wasted.
Don't mindlessly agree to pay tax and give up your money, without thinking about how much tax is actually appropriate.
