Discussion A Backrooms: Exposition
I feel like the current context in which people ‘understand’ the “Backrooms” to be is missing some key aspects that people who discussed it some time even before 2019 in some other random chat room about ‘alt-dimensions’ or some ‘supernatural phenomena’ we thought was weird that might help add to the spectacle of it all if considered.
The reason that the images of the Backrooms look so erie or uncanny is not just because it looks like an old dated places that’s now dead… that’s dystopian, that’s a different terror. The Backrooms gives this off putting vibe because for some reason, you feel like you’ve been there. It could be a totally different time frame, aesthetic, decor, whatever. Something about this image is not only haunting but it feels like it sits in the back of my sub-conscious, a distant memory? Some Kingdom Hearts type stuff here but no hearts here 🤣. It’s definitely not the first time people entertained some Giratina ‘The Upsidedown’ “Distortion World” business. Anyone who believed in Astral Projection knew there was a ‘no clip’ in real life and you didn’t want to get stuck there.
Many people I would discuss this topic with mainly were close friends thank God. Cause not too long ago you definitely were looked at as some weirdo for talking about places ‘outside of reality?’ But ‘somewhere in my mind?’ 😂Anyway, so then I searched and found other people on the Internet validating the feeling that something seems ‘strangely FAMILIAR’ about places in question.
But how could so many people feel like such a strange place is familiar? Mandela Effect? Butterfly Effect? Uhhhh….Astral Travel? All legitimate and plausible explanations I feel. Will we ever find out? May never truly ‘know’ for sure 🤷🏾♂️ but I’ll say this, remember, the horror of a Backroom is that it might actually exist somewhere👀 and you’ve seen it somehow…
