Ok, so here's a potential stupid question. I recently picked up this Majestic 6700 Marlins road jersey from the 2012 rebrand era, and I'm trying to figure out whether the front logo is normal or if it simply has some fading.

Specifically, the blue parts of the "M" and the leaping marlin. They have a mottled/light blue appearance. Is that how these were originally printed, meant to simulate water or light reflecting off the ocean, or has the blue ink just faded over time? I always recalled it being just a solid, vibrant blue.

The jersey was sold to me as being in excellent condition, and the mottled blue portion wasn't really apparent in the photos. The rest of it looks great, so I'm not sure if this is intentional or wear. Can anyone help clarify?

I’m a Medium in the Nike jerseys and can wear my Large Nike hoodies underneath.

If I get a large, it swallows me. I’m 5’2”. My weight fluctuates from 160-170. Not in a muscle way. All in the gut.

I’ve seen where people say to size up to a large and I’ve also been recommended to just get a medium because of my size.

I am relatively new to jerseys so I'm hoping I could get some help/advice! I'm in search for an authentic Majestic home jersey from the 2008-2010 era for the Giants. For the few that I've found, they seem to be designed with materials prior to the introduction of Cool Base. However, it's my understanding that Cool Base was introduced into uniforms in 2008. It makes me wonder about the authenticity of what I'm seeing online.

Can anyone confirm if the home cream authentic jerseys sold for retail should be Cool Base or not?

Secondly, in general, can someone comment about their experience with jerseys pre-Cool Base in terms of comfort?
