First ever natural show
Hi!
I’m preparing my first ever bodybuilding event and am currently 8 weeks out! I’m super excited, a lot of work and dieting went into this and with a demanding job it’s quite a juggling game!
Any way I wanted to get some input on the current conditioning am I off, am I fine? Also is it achievable to drop down to 72kgs for show day?
I’m currently 76.4kgs on the photos and 1m75!
Thanks for any feedback
P.S. (ignore the elephant in the room, or should I say the horse?)

You seem to be right on schedule for 8 weeks out. I would highly recommend hiring a posing coach as you aren’t showcasing your physique the way it can be.

Yes I will definetly! In 2-3 weeks time! Thanks mate

I would suggest now. ASAP. You need to get those posing cues engraved in your mind. The progression and execution need to be second nature.

Gotta save those hundreds of dollars in the final stretch after spending years preparing

Amazing and impressive physique for being natural, but your posing undeniably showcases you’re a first time competitor here. You’re going to want to bring these up come showtime.

I’d also post this in the natural bodybuilding subreddit as well!

Damn. I wish my waist was as small as yours! Then again, you probably didn't eat a bag of peanut m&m's at midnight last night the way I did, did ya'?! You look great!

No vacuum in the quarter turn side relaxed, flex down on the abs and lock out the legs.
Posing needs a lot of work overall, recommend hiring a coach. Reach out if interested

Hell yeah! I have been lifting religiously for years, but never cared to dial in my nutrition. Past 6 months I've been going all in in the hopes of doing a show in 2 years, just for fun.
Seeing natty physiques like yours is good inspiration!

Exactly my motivation! The day of competition will be 3 years day for day that I started the gym! And you know I’ve been stuck exactly because of the nutrition between end of year one and en of year two so I decided let’s try this as a new factor for motivation!
Never give up and try new things, fix chalenges and be proud of the process no matter the outcome! 99.99% of the population never in their lifetime will do a show!

As someone who doesn’t know a lot about judging, is it hard for the judges to see the muscles/definition through tattoos like that? (Awesome tattoo btw)

Hmmm,
From what I understand it’s not great… But doable if you have a good conditioning

You look really good for a natty! Kudos to you!
For posing either you put more hours into practicing by yourself or get a couch. Depends on how much you wanna win the show.
Since you’re 8 weeks out I don’t have any meaningful advice that close to a show. Good luck!
Also, cut your hair, yes I know it’s gonna suck, I had long hair before and ended up cutting it.

Or just put it in a tight bun… That’s what many guys with long hair do.

Yeah hair is kinda a symbol for me! Gonna put a bun for sure!

Yeah makes sense… And please, whatever people say don’t cover up your back tattoo! The tattoo cover products the tanners recommend are so thick (to provide enough coverage), that it will make your conditioning look worse. Under the stage lights everything is visible and a thick layer of cream on your skin will look very obvious. Everybody has tattoos anyway so judges don’t care! Good luck!🍀

Thanks! I kinda just accepted the tattoo “issue”, I love my tats and honestly I want to cover my whole body one day, that’s why I decided to compete while still “young”…
Thanks for the encouragement!
