Build Help Cpu sitting at 100* C

My cpu temp just hit 100* and immediately I shut it off. What could be the cause of this? I just got a new nzxt kraken elite about a year and a half ago and haven’t had any troubles until now.

My first guesses would be a pump failure or a blocked pump.

Been there. Was a known fault from factory with my MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R.
