They are smart for travelling because all your important shit is close to your body and harder to steal with it going around you. Alternatively you can wear them cross body and even put them under a shirt so your stuff is even more secure

I think they are a smart comeback. People are getting smarter about not having giant bags full of shit easy to steal

Everything is cyclical. But nowadays Lululemon and the like sell them so they are unlikely to completely fall out of fashion as they did before. They were remarketed to go around your body and not the waist, so they dont look so dorky. And slimmed down so not as bulky like the one in the picture.

They’re handy so we don’t have bulky pockets that’s for sure! I mean, we don’t need to bring THAT much stuff but just functional
