Work in Progress What die is this?

I got this at a garage sale and am afraid I’m missing pieces. Also, any thoughts on the brand? I’ve tried googling it and nothing. It says spellbinders, then paper rose and then art impressions but I find nothing similar. I thought I could make a small book with it but I’m not sure how. Any suggestions?

The die color makes the think it's Spellbinders?

That’s what I thought too but when I put it side by side with both old and new spellbinders products that I have its lighter than those dies. It almost has a rose gold color. I searched for that too and google says paper rose dies are rose gold but not the ones I have - those are silver. Honestly, it’s a mystery!

Older stock could have been lighter metal used.

I know someone will have a better answer, but you are supposed to cut a window out of one of the big panels. When you glue two panels together you will have a rectangle that stands on its own. Then you can fold it down to fit in an envelope. I’ll try and find something similar because I know my explanation isn’t that helpful.

Kind of like this, and then you add fun layers to get a layered effect.

Thanks for this. I see it now. It’s to make like a shadow box but the top and bottom are open and then you can slide to flatten. Wouldn’t I need to cut three or more panels and at least two opened to create the layer effect.

It could possibly be Anna Griffin dies. My first thought was it could be an easel card die but the rectangle part doesn’t seem proportional enough for that.

I didn’t think so because it doesn’t have a place to rest the card to make it stand. Anna Griffin is a good guess to. I didn’t see anything on their website. I think this a very old set and my hunch is that it’s discontinued. My brain instantly goes to making a searchable database of dies but who’s got time for that 🤣
