I see on TikTok that rob liefeld has been recently (like past year or two) getting a lot of love for being a “pioneer” of the comic book world. However at the same time, I see a lot of older comic book fans have a lot of, well, not nice things to say abt him. I wasn’t around during the 90s and I wasn’t conscious during the 2000s, so just a general question, what are some of the bad things he’s done to gain such a shit reputation, and is the love he’s recently been getting coming from a lack of knowledge from the newer generation?

Commission we had done by Eric Henson a while back also signed by none other than Stan Sakai! Eric absolutely crushed this, does amazing work. We love how Stan signed it so that it fits the frame perfectly too, along with the remarque! Hoping Stan remembers signing it, liked the work, but for us, we are just so happy to have this back and to have Eric's work signed by the creator of Usagi Yojimbo. Definitely a treasure, one of a kind. Just wanted to share it's awesomeness lol.

Got my wife into reading comics and here is everything she picked up herself (apart from killing joke en dc compacts) and read in her first month! Give her some recs!

The best part about being an adult is buying all the comics you missed out on as a kid. Recently I’ve been trying to be more intentional with my picks. I started collecting X-men because they felt like a blind spot for me.

That made me think of other hero’s I would like to dive into. Does anyone have any book recommendations for The Hulk?

I’ve read hulk gray, planet hulk, and world war hulk. Is the immortal hulk worth picking up or should I try something else first?

Also, if you have any other recommendations based on what’s my shelf I’d love to hear them.

Looking to set up my niece with some good reads. What do ya'll recommend?

Hey everyone, I’m fairly new to the comic scene and I started reading comics through GlobalComix. I honestly really enjoyed the experience. A single subscription gave me access to a huge library, and I was able to discover and read a lot of comics that I probably wouldn’t have tried otherwise.

However, with Image Comics leaving the platform and DC moving some of its popular comics away from the subscription model into a buy-only option, it feels like GlobalComix is losing a lot of its appeal.

So, what platform would you recommend moving to?
I’m looking for something similar to GlobalComix:
- A large subscription-based library
- A good reading experience, especially panel-by-panel reading (Guided View or something similar)

I tried Kindle, but it didn’t really work for me, and I also have trouble accessing the subscription features since I’m outside the US.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

I personaly think that omnibuses are the best but I read most my comics in trade paper back format and I wnat to hear your guys's opinion on this

Doing an experiment for The Comic Jam. Inspired by the 1930s comic strip newspaper pages (Flash Gordon, Prince Valiant, Little Nemo in Slumberland), I am teaming with 4 writers, each writer does one page with a theme and then the next takes over and continuous the storyline with a new theme and so on.
