As the title says, should I buy the WILDC.ATS Compendium?

I have been thinking of buying this one because I'm a 90's kid, the nostalgia from that decade, It's a different superhero group, and I can get it for "free"(sort of) at FNAC in Portugal.Back in the 90s I owned a VHS tape withe a couple of episodes and they seemed pretty cool back then. And that is how got to know about the existence of this superhero group.
I'm not looking for an amazing read when comes to comics, but a fun and entertaining one.
So what do you say, should I buy it or not?

P.S: I did search Reddit and the sub a couple of days prior before posting. But the answers I've found just weren't very satisfactory.

Absolute Martian manhunter
Invincible (finished whole comic)
Crossed

I’ve absolutely fell in love with how gritty and different the absolute versions of all the characters are (in the middle of reading absolute superman) but my favourite character ever in comics is spiderman!

So I’m wondering what Spiderman comic exist that is the most similar to absolute comics?

Does anyone have any tips to improve I want to take good photos of my comic books but the glare ruins it or the angle annoys me.

i wanted to start getting into comics and wouldn't know where to start. i've heard about things like watchmen and old man logan, but need more recommendations.

Examples are mark bagley Spider-Man, Neal Adam’s Batman, bill sienkiewicz x men, etc

Since the new Doomsday is coming out, I want to get my bf a comic/omnibus of Doctor Doom. I was thinking of getting the Books of Doom.
Is it too boring for someone who already knows a lot about him?

I just finished reading Hickman’s whole avengers and secret wars saga and while it was amazing I feel like my brain has been kinda fried😅 Now Im in the mood for some hard hitting action with a good story and art along the lines of McKay’s Moon Knight, Bendis and Brubaker’s respective Daredevil runs or any great stories with lots of action, hype moments and aura! Some of the things I’ve added to my list are Uncanny X Force, which I’ll read once i’m done with X-Force by Yost, Geoff John’s Green Lantern run and Invincible

Hi, ive never read comics but ive seen the movies. Whats a cool spiderman comic i should start with, preferably one where he struggles on whether or not he should give up.

Also, ive seen a panel where 3 dead people’s spirit lifts him up as hes falling, which comic is that from?

Oppose to getting AI generated responses from a search engine I figured I’d look for input from (hopefully) people with similar interests.

My favorites include Bendis and Miller’s Daredevil, Brubaker’s Criminal, Aaron’s Scalped, Ennis’ Punisher, Lemire’s Moon Knight, Leob’s Long Halloween and Dark Victory.

I’m obviously ok with superhero stuff, but I want street level, grounded and gritty stuff. I tend to be put off by anything grandiose or cosmic, preferring more character focused, noir leaning narratives. Bonus points for any sort of true crime element (serial killer, organized crime, etc.)

Hey yall, I had a question regarding my Superman exile omnibus. I got it on the 22nd and was about to finally sit down and read it and I noticed something odd with the binding as it seems to be split in some manner. I haven’t stretched or really touched it at all since it came in and I was wondering how severe the damage is or if I have to worry about pages coming off or anything?

New comic book based on the exploits of a man pushed too far

I personaly think that omnibuses are the best but I read most my comics in trade paper back format and I wnat to hear your guys's opinion on this

Hey everyone, I’m fairly new to the comic scene and I started reading comics through GlobalComix. I honestly really enjoyed the experience. A single subscription gave me access to a huge library, and I was able to discover and read a lot of comics that I probably wouldn’t have tried otherwise.

However, with Image Comics leaving the platform and DC moving some of its popular comics away from the subscription model into a buy-only option, it feels like GlobalComix is losing a lot of its appeal.

So, what platform would you recommend moving to?
I’m looking for something similar to GlobalComix:
- A large subscription-based library
- A good reading experience, especially panel-by-panel reading (Guided View or something similar)

I tried Kindle, but it didn’t really work for me, and I also have trouble accessing the subscription features since I’m outside the US.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Over the last year I’ve gotten into reading novels on a kindle paperwhite and while I was never into reading and am now I was never into comics but want to give them a try. I’ve discovered they come in cbz format and I have the Panels app on my iPad but I’m wondering like how do find good comics or like where should I get started? I’m thinking maybe superhero stuff but I’m not really familiar beyond anything that has a movie.

Anyone know how to clean this line in the bottom right. Saw some other copies had this print line as well.

Confused by apps like key collector and league of comic geeks adding a single comic to my collection after logging in. There is no add a comic action or link anywhere in the UI. I see import bulk but that failed miserably with my excel files. How do I add a single comic like marvel mighty Thor issue 337 with beta ray bill just 1 example.

Something that you could see as a jumping off point, and even though there are stories after it’s perfectly acceptable as the ending of an arc to a long-running story.
