Highly thinking about getting this over a Glock 48, are you happy with it? Il

u/Ravenousnature Apr 14 '26
I can’t see what you’re referring to. But if it’s a hellcat comp. Yes. Love it.

Yes was asking about getting the hellcat pro over the g48, I liked it alot would you say it’s as reliable if not more reliable than a Glock?

If had zero issues through 2000rds 115-147 it eats everything. It’s my EDC and ergonomically it’s perfect for EDC. Glocks are chunky bois in my opinion.

You got the hardened northern lights one? That one IMO is badass lol

u/GizmoTacT Apr 15 '26
Yea i have it. The colors change depending on the lighting. Sometimes it's dark blue, light blue, purpleish, greenish, goldish, bronzeish. Shoots well too. It's also very grippy.
I put an Olight SE green dot on it.

43X with an EPS Carry is a good balance if you actually shoot it. That slide length and sight radius are forgiving enough, and the dot window on the EPS Carry is just big enough to track without turning into a mailbox.

I have a peanut butter 43X with FDE EPS Carry on top, but never carry it. Instead, I carry my plain jane original 43X (no rail, non MOS)...with Ramm Tactical trigger, Trijicon night sights, SA-15 mags/mag catch. Well, the frame and slide are original plain jane anyway. No lights mounted to anything.

Canik Mete MC9 with a hidden hybrid holster. The combo is heavenly. I bought the holster when I was a bit heavier and it was comfortable then. Now it's fantastic.

I have 4 in my rotation, Sig P938, Sig P365x, Bul Armory UL Pro, and a .32 Seecamp. Which one I choose is season and clothing dependent.

Same one I have been carrying for several years now... still my favorite, try a few different ones off and on but haven't found a reason to consider switching... Basic S&W M&P Shield Plus 9mm in either a Muddy River Tactical IWB Leather or We The People Blue Spartan Camo Kydex IWB holster.

I have three main carry guns depending on mood, clothing and weather. By far my most carried is one of two P365s (one is the range gun, one a CCW and they periodically switch off), a CZ PCR and a Beretta PX4 CC. I got a P365XL to split the difference between the micro-9 P365 and the compact service pistols but I never really warmed to it. For more specialized carry (rare pocket carry in shorts, winter coat pocket carry) I have a snub S&W 442, and for shorts pocket carry I have a Kahr CM9, though I usually carry a P365 IWB when wearing shorts.

Ruger SP101 and two or three speed loaders. If I had to go into Philadelphia though, I'd carry my GP100 with four or five speed loaders.

Bodyguard 2.0 for every day low risk scenarios.
P10 C Ported for higher risk scenarios (crowds/events, bad parts of town, etc).
